One more thing that I didn't miss while still living in Perth City, was a photo of myself with a panoramic view of the city of Perth from a stunning height. Yes. This spot really seems to exist to spoil self-photo lovers. Right on the edge of this hill there is a flat area which is a circular path bordered by a fence at the height of an adult's stomach.

Apart from this spot for photos and a picnic area on Fremantle Hill, it turns out that there is one important and interesting place that I didn't really realize at first.

Right in the middle of this area we will find a towering granite obelisk-shaped monument. This is the so-called Fremantle War Memorial. The monument was built to honor the people of West Australia who died defending their country in World War I.

​The existence of the Fremantle War Memorial on the hilltop of Fremantle in my view is also a strategic position for the existence of this monument itself. This is because it is one of the favorite places for tourists in Western Australia so that the potential for visits to this monument is also quite high. From the start, I only wanted to enjoy the view of Perth from the top of the hill. Finally, I accidentally visited this place and learned more or less about the progress of the Australian people in World War I.

The establishment of this monument on the other hand is also an interesting landmark as a whole. If there were no obelisk monuments towering over the hillside, maybe this place was an area that only contained green grass and trees. An ordinary area that is easily found in other corners of Perth. The Fremantle War Memorial is a war memorial located on Monument Hill, in the hills of Fremantle, Western Australia. Built by the Fremantle City Council in 1928 to commemorate the losses of the First World War, it is currently used as a public reserve since the early 19th century. The memorial itself consists of a large obelisk, the Memorial of the Fallen Soldiers and Sailors, surrounded by eight smaller memorials. The site, located on the Highway near the center of Fremantle, overlooks the Port of Fremantle,

The War Memorial is located on Monument Hill on the outskirts of Fremantle. The hill overlooks Fremantle Harbor, Park Island and Rottnest Island to the west, Monument Hill was identified early as one of the best vantage points in Fremantle.

The reserve is surrounded by residential properties just to the north, south, east, and west, bordering the nature reserve, and Solomon Street passes through the centre, allowing public and private transport access.

The site was listed on the Register of Historic Places on August 28, 2001, with the List List noting: "the full panoramic view (and views of Fremantle and Gage Roads in particular) rendered of the place, the city park containing mature trees and open space, and the open character and the near-constant breezes at the peak (especially in the warmer months) are all aesthetic characteristics of the place that continue to attract visitors and locals alike and contribute to a sense of community place.
