RE: And So It Begins!

I saw lots of posts about Whoopi Goldberg but none actually said what she said. Hmmm I guess I can see that by removing the emphasis from Germans killing Jews to focus on the inhumanity of killing people and discus that it’s inhumanity which allows us to be inhumane to any group is to much for peoples brains. Too bad we might have had a breakthrough that would actually prevent such future tragedies but instead of thinking about how being humane fixes this we prefer to beat her up for not parrotingthe approved interpretation and making it clear that we can’t draw any larger conclusions from this like the same rationale which allows us to kill killers for killing helps them rationalize killing. Life is either sacred or not sacred and rationalizations for killing just beget different rationalizations for killing. But if we really wanted to stop killings we would show respect for all life. What a novel concept

Unfortunately it does go back to the old divide and conquer thing. Keep the masses focused on silly stuff, while you steal them blind.

Sorry to hear about your relative dying so young. I hope his soul gets another turn at corporal life soon, and hopefully in a healthier body.
