Bitcoin for 10% of its value? Yes, but there are 'catches'
'I wish I had bought more bitcoin when it was cheaper', we all think from time to time. At least I do. I was one of the first bitcoin adopters and for the stupid mistakes like holding BTC on an exchange I had lost tens of BTC. I haven't used the chance I was given by fate. But you know what they say 'if you knew you would fall, you would have sat down beforehand'.
Why I am writing this?
It's because some people might be bold enough to buy BTC for a 1/10 of its value. Where's the catch? Of course there is one. You actually won't be buying the BTC but sdBTC, which is a debt token representing the debt of Stakecube.
The risk is immense, because it's only a vague promise and not a binding obligation.
Since coup d'etat on Stakecube the trading volume has went to a halt. With daily transactions volume at 6-7k $ it's hard to imagine they will earn enough off fees to recover 246 BTC missing.
In this post I have explained that there's another catch - the Stakecube will be buying sdBTC from the market. If they buy 1 sdBTC for 0.1 BTC it would mean that they have paid their debt worth of 1 BTC for 10% of its value. The more they buy from the 'weak-hands' the better the price would be for others... Of course if the team would still be interested in Stakecube.
Since i mentioned my project @cube4stake, it's aimed at listing Hive on the Stakecube. Imagine if they listed and created a series of posts about their mission to rectify the issue with Oleg and use the funds earned to buy back the debt. It's easy money. To get them they don't even have to list Hive. They could start their Hive operation even before listing Hive and use Hive-Engine to transfer the tokens that are already listed on Stakecube.
