Hablemos de perros 🐶. Esta hermosa perra se llama Kira, se las presenté hace poco en un video, pero hoy quiero hablar un poco más sobre ella y sobre su raza que casi nadie la conoce y vale la pena investigar un poco más al respecto 🔍.

Let's talk about dogs 🐶. This beautiful dog is called Kira, I recently introduced them to her in a video, but today I want to talk a little more about her and her breed that almost no one knows about her and it is worth investigating a little more about it 🔍.

Kira es un ejemplar de RHODESEIAN RIDGEBACK de 1 año, esta raza tambien es conocida como Perro rodesiano crestado o como rodesiano africano. Esta hermosa perrita es imponente y hermosa, haciéndole honor a su raza.

Cuando vivía en Venezuela nunca llegué a ver uno, incluso nunca escuché de esta raza y es que no es una raza tan común. Sin embargo, desde que vivo en Perú y me dedico a pasear y entrenar perros, tampoco es tan común verlos, pero afortunadamente conocí a Kira a quien todos los días saco dos veces a pasear y jugar.

Kira is a 1 year old RHODESEIAN RIDGEBACK specimen, this breed is also known as the Rhodesian Crested Dog or as the African Rhodesian. This beautiful dog is imposing and beautiful, honoring her breed.

When I lived in Venezuela I never got to see one, I never even heard of this breed and it is not such a common breed. However, since I live in Peru and I am dedicated to walking and training dogs, it is not so common to see them either, but fortunately I met Kira who I take twice every day to walk and play.

Los perros rodesianos crestados son perros de origen sudafricano. Cuentan los padres de Kira que ellos viajaron a áfrica hace años y ahí conocieron esta raza tan singular y quedaron enamorados.

Estos perros se carcaterizan por ser musculosos, imponentes y sobre todo muy veloces. Son muy ágiles para correr, son fuertes y musculosos, pero a la vez son muy dósiles y cariñosos. Una mezcla un poco extraña, pero así es.

Rhodesian Crested Dogs are dogs of South African origin. Kira's parents say that they traveled to Africa years ago and there they met this unique breed and fell in love.

These dogs are characterized by being muscular, imposing and above all very fast. They are very agile to run, they are strong and muscular, but at the same time they are very gentle and affectionate. A bit of a weird mix, but that's the way it is.

Kira, a diferencia de lo que debe ser su raza, es muy tranquila. No le gusta mucho correr, pero cuando lo hace es muy ágil, supongo que la genética llama jajaj aunque su personalidad es muy calmada.

Cuando la conocí me llamó la atención una especie de cresta que tiene en su lomo y pensé que era que tenía el cabello más laro en esa zona o le habían cortado el cabello mal 😂 pero no. Los dueños de Kira me comentaron que esa es una caacteristica de la raza, por ello le dicen crestado.

Lo más curioso de esto es que investigando un poco al respecto: este rasgo físico lo tienen como una medida para generar miedo o temor a sus enemigos, ya que en áfrica existen muchos depredadores en los campos y de esta forma la raza se defiende ¿curioso no? 😲

When I met her, I was struck by a kind of crest that she has on her back and I thought it was that she had thinner hair in that area or they had cut her hair wrong 😂 but no. Kira's owners told me that this is a characteristic of the breed, that's why they call it crested.

The most curious thing about this is that investigating a little about it: they have this physical trait as a measure to generate fear or fear of their enemies, since in Africa there are many predators in the fields and in this way the breed defends itself. Very impressive rigth? 😲

Aunque Kira no es tan ágil ni da miedo, claramente tiene un físico muy imponente y hermoso. Es una perra que no pasa desapercibida, pues cada vez que la paseo la gente suele preguntarme qué raza es y cuando les comento al respecto quedan impresionados. La mayoría no conoce esta raza, por eso quise compartirlo con ustedes para que pudieran conocer un poco más al respecto.

Although Kira is not that agile or scary, she clearly has a very imposing and beautiful physique. She is a dog that does not go unnoticed, because every time I walk her people often ask me what breed it is and when I tell them about it they are impressed.
