Hello monochromatic #Hive friends!... Today is a great day to be here on #monomad with you and share my monochrome pictures taken in the gardens of my house and my mother's house (we have houses next to each other, so it's easy to come between one and the other)... The moments without rain are great to go out and have fun like when I was a kid watching what's going on in these gardens!... And now I can take pictures and this is a lovely thing! ;)

Hoy es un excelente día para estar aquí en #monomad con ustedes y compartir mis fotografías monocromáticas hechas en los jardines de mi casa y la casa de mi madre (tenemos casas contiguas, así que es fácil venir entre uno y otro)... ¡Los momentos sin lluvia son excelentes para salir a divertirme como cuando era un niño mirando lo que sucede en estos jardines!... ¡Y ahora puedo hacer fotos y esto es algo encantador! ;)

This is a quite different kind of photographic work from what I do in the streets, but I have to say that there are some similarities between the two and they have to do with that ‘introspection’ effect that both types of photography have in me. Also, there is something similar between going through the gardens looking for small details which may go unnoticed by the common people, just as I do in the streets when I wander around looking for tiny and punctual events...

Este es un tipo de trabajo fotográfico bastante distinto a lo que hago en las calles, pero tengo que decir que hay algunas similitudes entre ambos y ellas tienen que ver con ese efecto de "introspección" que ambos tipos de fotografía me producen. Además, hay algo similar entre ir por los jardines atento a pequeños detalles los cuales pueden pasar inadvertidos para el común de la gente, al igual que lo hago en las calles cuando deambulo buscando también esos eventos diminutos y puntuales...

This is a type of work which I usually do using a dedicated 100MM macro lens and I do it without using a tripod or monopod, I don't usually use flash or other additional lighting and I usually set my camera in manual aperture (A) mode. The focus mode is manual and my lens is unstabilized, so this is a kind of photography that I like to define as ‘quite handmade’ and believe me I enjoy it a lot! ;)

Este es un tipo de trabajo el cual suelo realizar usando un lente macro dedicado de 100MM y lo hago sin usar trípode ni monópodo, tampoco acostumbro usar flash u otro tipo de iluminación adicional y por lo general configuro mi cámara en modo de ajustes manuales por apertura (A). El modo de enfoque es manual y mi lente es sin estabilizar, así que este es un tipo de fotografía que me gusta definir como "como bastante artesanal" y créanme ¡Lo disfruto un montón! ;)

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
