Hello dear #Hive photography lovers friends!... Welcome to a new series of my black and white photographs. Today I have the pleasure to invite you to a journey through my particular vision of the nature around me. These are some photos taken in what I call ‘the tiny world around’ which I took during an afternoon walk yesterday on a country road to the west of my village...

¡Hola queridos amigos amantes de la fotografía en #Hive!... Bienvenidos a una nueva serie de mis fotografías en blanco y negro. Hoy tengo el placer de inventarlos a un recorrido por mi visión particular de la naturaleza a mis alrededores. Se trata de algunas fotos echas en eso que suelo llamar "el mundo diminuto que me rodea" las cuales hice durante un paseo vespertino realizado ayer en un camino rural al Oeste de mi pueblo...

The rainy season has just started here in our region, so the numbers of insects are relatively low, however I have found some interesting ones on my walk through the countryside. I took these photos using a 100 mm macro lens and my intention was to make some close-ups oriented towards minimalism in some cases and abstract in others. From the beginning I also planned to do this work in black and white, so the lighting, contrast, depth of focus and everything else was done to achieve the visual impact and drama that I like for my monochrome photos.

La temporada de lluvias apenas recién comienza aquí en nuestra región, así que las cantidades de insectos son relativamente bajas, sin embargo he encontrado algunos interesantes en mi recorrido por el campo. Hice estas fotos usando un lente macro 100 mm y mi intención fue hacer algunos close-ups orientados al minimalismo en algunos casos y a lo abstracto en otros. Desde el principio también planeé hacer este trabajo en blanco y negro, así que la iluminación, el contraste la profundidad de enfoque y todo lo demás lo hice como para lograr el impacto y drama visual que me gusta para mis fotos monocromáticas.

The place where I took these photos is quite isolated in the evenings, so that allowed me to enjoy a couple of hours of silence and to concentrate on exploring the vegetation in search of tiny and relevant details. I also tried to avoid making too close macro shots, due I always had in mind to make close-up photos where several elements were visually involved and giving priority to dramatically out-of-focus backgrounds which I consider excellent to apply vignettes when editing photos on my PC... I love using vignettes in this kind of photos! ;)

El lugar en donde hice estas fotos es bastante solitario durante las tardes, así que eso me permitió disfrutar de un par de horas de silencio y poder concentrarme en explorar la vegetación en busca de detalles diminutos y relevantes. También procuré evitar hacer macros demasiado cercanos, pues siempre tuve en mente hacer fotos close-up en donde estuviesen implicados visualmente varios elementos y dando prioridad fondos dramáticamente desenfocados, los cuales considero excelentes para aplicar viñetas al momento de editarlas fotografías en mi PC..¡Amo usar viñetas en este tipo de fotos! ;)

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
