Some of these photos I didn't remember taking until I looked at them while going through my RAW files... Sometimes that happens to me; I go through the streets taking photos but at the same time I become absorbed in very internal thoughts... I have already said it before in my publications; There is something "meditation and yoga" for me in wandering the streets...

Algunas de estas fotos no recordaba haberlas hecho hasta que las miré mientras revisaba mis archivos RAW... A veces me pasa eso; voy por las calles haciendo fotos pero al mismo tiempo me abstraigo en pensamientos muy internos... Ya lo he dicho antes en mis publicaciones; hay algo de "meditación y yoga" para mi en deambular por las calles...

When I fall into this "street introspection" I usually have thoughts that are very pertinent to self-knowledge; I like to think deeply about issues that go beyond the physical and even the common mental... I know, I sound a bit strangely, but going into my most primal consciousness is something that leads me to a kind of "silence that says things"... I don't know how to explain this very well, but I like to try to do so...

Cuando caigo en esa "introspección callejera" suelo tener pensamientos muy pertinentes al auto-conocimiento; me gusta cavilar de manera profunda respecto a temas que van más allá de lo físico e incluso de lo mundanamente mental... Ya sé que sueno un poco extraño esto, pero adentrarme en mi consciencia más primigenia es algo que me lleva a una especie de "silencio que dices cosas"... No sé explicar esto muy bien, pero me gusta intentar hacerlo...

I don't always immerse myself so deeply in philosophical abstractions; sometimes I can face my oldest ghosts, those that bring me pain and mixed feelings... In recent days that happened to me; I remembered a love from my early youth, a love from those years when one is just beginning to leave childhood behind and dive into adolescence, it was someone I loved very much and he left one day almost without warning... She didn't go away to another faraway place, but she was surprised by an untimely and unexpected death... I still believe that this somehow marked me forever, as if it were a scar that hurts from time to time...

No siempre me sumerjo tan profundo en abstracciones filosóficas; algunas veces puedo enfrentarme a mis fantasmas más antiguos, aquellos que me traen dolores y sentimientos encontrados... En días pasados me pasó eso; recordé un amor de temprana de juventud, un amor de esos años en los que uno apenas comienza a dejar atrás la niñez y se sumerge en la adolescencia, fue alguien a quien quise mucho y se fue un día casi sin avisar. No se marchó a otro lugar lejano, sino que la sorprendió una muerte prematura e inesperada... Sigo creyendo que eso de alguna manera me marcó para siempre, como si fuese una cicatriz que duele de vez cuando...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
