Hello #Hive visual friends!... Well, this post is about: ‘Me doing something I really like on some country road near my village and carrying my camera and my old 100mm macro lens’... So I simply try to take advantage of the intervals of clear weather between the copious downpours that keep occurring in my village. As well as dealing with the insects, heat and humidity. But there is nothing that can prevent ‘the crazy guy with the camera in his hand’ from going out to do what he feels is an ‘alternative to Yoga’ and that, apart from taking photos, serves me to reach levels of introspection that are very valuable to me.... But, come with me to look at these photos which I am sure you will like!...

¡Hola amigos visuales de #Hive!... Bien, esta publicación se trata de: "Yo haciendo algo que me gusta mucho en algún camino rural cercano a mi pueblo y llevando mi cámara y mi viejo lente de 100mm para macro fotografía"... Así que simplemente procuro aprovechar los intervalos de clima despejado entre los copiosos aguaceros que siguen aconteciendo en mi pueblo. Además de lidiar con los insectos, el calor y la humedad. Pero ¡Nada hay que pueda evitar el "el tipo loco con la cámara en la mano" salga a hacer eso que él siente como una "alternativa al Yoga" y que, además de para hacer fotos, me sirve para alcanzar niveles de introspección que se me hacen muy valiosos... ¡Pero, acompáñenme a mirar estas fotos las cuales seguro les gustarán!...

This was simple, and I don't mean that it was ‘’easy‘’ to do. No, I mean that I worked these pictures in manual mode (M) of the camera and even the focus was done manually by eye in the viewfinder. So I just had to play with the parameters in a way that allowed me to have a good shutter speed to avoid camera shake and keep an exposure between -0.3EV and -0.7EV as I work with wide apertures and full frame brightness assessment, so this allows me to underexpose and then exploit the dynamic range at will when I process the RAWs... For the rest, it's just a matter of crouching down, holding your breath and dealing with this heavy (but very efficient) lens that has no automatic stabilisation... I like to call this: ‘spartan macros’! :))

Esto fue simple, y no me refiero a que fuese "sencillo" de hacer. No, me refiero a que trabajé estas fotografías en modo manual (M) de la cámara e incluso el enfoque lo hice manual a ojo en el visor. Así que solo tuve que jugar con los parámetros de manera que me permitiesen tener una velocidad de obturación buena para evitar trepidaciones y mantener una exposición de entre -0.3EV y -0.7EV pues trabajo con aperturas amplias y evaluación de luminosidad de fotograma completo, así que esto me permite sub-exponer y explotar posteriormente el rango dinámico a placer cuando proceso los RAW... Del resto, solo se trata de agacharse, aguantar la respiración y lidiar con este pesado (pero muy eficiente) lente que no tiene estabilización automáticas... ¡Me gusta llamar esto: "macros espartanos"! :))

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
