BEFORE DAWN - Street photography from Montalbán, Carabobo, Venezuela || ENG-ESP || (12 Pics)
Hello #Hive photography lovers folks!... Today I have street photos to share with you but taken a little differently than what I'm used to. This is a series of twelve photos on Bolivar St. in my hometown. I took them a morning when I went out to exercise around 5:45 AM. I usually don't take street photos in this kind of light conditions (without sunlight) but that day a nice stray dog decided to accompany me part of the way and that's how I decided to start taking pictures... After that, I couldn't stop! and that's how I ended up with this handful of night street photos to be shared on #Hive!...
¡Hola amigos amantes de la fotografía en #Hive!... Hoy tengo fotos de calle para compartir con ustedes pero hechas de manera un poco distinta a lo que acostumbro. Se trata de una serie de doce fotografías en la Calle Bolívar de mi pueblo. Las hice un día al salir a ejercitarme cerca de las 5:45 AM. Por lo general no hago fotos callejeras en este tipo de condiciones lumínicas (sin luz solar) pero ese día simpático perro callejero decidió acompañarme parte del trayecto y fue así como decidí comenzar a disparar fotos... ¡Después de eso, ya no pude detenerme! y así fue como terminé con este puñado de fotos callejeras nocturnas para ser compartidas en #Hive!...
Fortunately that day I had on my camera a small 50mm fixed lens whose main virtues are an f/1.8 aperture and a fantastic light absorbing capacity, so I did almost all of this with ISO 1000 and trying shutter speeds around 1/60s... As I said before, it's not something I often do, but I felt very good about the experience and I liked the resulting photos, so I decided to share all of this so you can get to know this street together before sunrise...
Afortunadamente ese día llevaba puesto en mi cámara un pequeño lente fijo de 50 mm cuya principales virtudes son una apertura f/1.8 y una fantástica capacidad de absorber luz, así que casi todo esto lo hice con ISO 1000 y procurando velocidades de obturación que rondaban el 1/60s... Como dije antes, no es algo que frecuentemente haga, pero me sentí muy bien con la experiencia y me gustaron las fotos resultantes, así que decidí compartir todo esto para que ustedes conozcan esta calle junto antes del amanecer...

By the way, the reason I go out with a camera in a backpack to exercise at 5:45 AM is because I take advantage of walking before the fog gets thicker and there is sunlight, as that is how I prefer to take my street photos. However, this experience has made me want to try a little more street photography in night or low natural light conditions. So I will surely have more photos of this style for you in the future.
Por cierto, la razón por la cual salgo con una cámara en una mochila a ejercitarme a las 5:45 AM es porque aprovecho de caminar antes de que la niebla se haga más densa y haya luz solar, pues es así como prefiero hacer mis fotos callejeras. Sin embargo, esta experiencia me ha hecho sentir deseos de probar un poco más de fotografía callejera en condiciones nocturnas o de poca luz natural. Así que seguramente tendré para ustedes más fotos de este estilo en un futuro.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.

It's interesting to see how empty is the street at this time. I know it's early, but in Switzerland the streets are already kind of full as the Swiss like to work early 😊 But I must that I would not go to exercise at this time 😂 Kuddos to you!
Hahaha :))) Hello @delishtreats friend, first of all thank you very much for stopping by and appreciating my post!... When I was young, the streets of my town were also crowded with people going to work in the farms and factories of the town since before 5 AM... But a lot has happened in these last 25 years!.... Now there are very few productive farms, all the factories closed down years ago and we are in the middle of a fuel crisis!... We have had very bad governments, believe me!... That's why the town is so lonely!...
PD: And yes, “I'm the only crazy guy here, who goes out at dawn to work out with a camera in his backpack besides!”... I suffer from “fibromyalgia” since I was diagnosed about 17 years ago, so “walking early” is something that helps me deal with this condition... I've learned to deal with it! :))
