Tanguar Haor: A Beautiful Wetland in Bangladesh

Tanguare Haor is known as one of the best tourist destinations in our country. It is located in Sunamganj, Sylhet, one of the best tourist districts of Bangladesh. We live in Dinajpur division. The distance from our area to Tangua Haor is about 463 km.

One of the major sources of fresh water in our country is this Tanguar haor. Many travelers visit this place every year.

The beauty of the hills of Meghalaya state located in our neighboring country India can be enjoyed from Tanguar Haor. Some springs came down the hill. The fauna and flora diversity of this place will mesmerize you. During winter many visitors come here for bird watching. Many species of plants and birds can be seen here.

The most beautiful is the beauty of the reservoir here. Here you will want to get lost in the beautiful water and blue sky.

Another famous tourist center of Sunamganj is Shimul Bagan. The greenery of Shimul or silk cotton tree garden creates a sense of tranquility in the heart. I don't remember seeing such enchanting beauty before.

Monsoon is the perfect time to visit Sunamganj. While traveling here you need to take some precautions. A life jacket must be carried when traveling by boat. You can visit this incredibly beautiful place with friends or family.
