Baliati Palace- A Wonderful Archeological Site in Bangladesh
Baliati palace is located in my native district: Manikganj. It is one of the most historic and archaeological sites I have ever seen, and one that I would like to visit many times.
This palace located in Manikganj, Bangladesh seems very different from other palaces of our country. According to the information received, the entire palace area is located on an area of about 20 acres. There are several ruined buildings throughout the palace area. But the architecture of the palace was eye-catching. Despite being an ancient structure, the palace's various designs and minarets still have a regal feel.
As soon as you go through the main entrance gate to the palace area, you will see a royal building. Above the gate is a statue of a lion. Such a lion statue is noticeable at the gate of another palace in Bangladesh. The royal building that you will see after entering the palace grounds houses a museum that houses many old artifacts.
Bangladesh Archeology Department is in charge of maintaining the palace. Balayati Palace consists of several buildings. Most of the buildings are tall. As it is spread over a huge area and you need to spend decent time here to explore all the archaeological sites well.
While visiting Baliati Palace you will see many archeological artifacts. There is an old mosque near the palace. There is a huge pond in front of the palace. There is also a pond inside the palace area. The palace is located in the village area and the surrounding areas are developing. When I visited the palace there was road work going on. It is one of the tourist centers of Bangladesh so the development of this area is really commendable. The distance of Baliati Palace from the capital Dhaka is about 62 km. You can visit Baliati Palace by bus or micro. You are invited to visit this magnificent archaeological site
