Wednesday Walk: Navigating My Way home, as my street got flooded after the heavy rain

Hallo guys,
its been an amazing Wednesday over here, and the last day of the month of August, Its really been a memorable Wednesday but full of pains as people within my street lost their properties as the heavy rain invaded the whole environment.

The street is within the capital city of Uyo, in Akwa Ibom State, south south Nigeria, the weather happen to be very funny in a way as we left home for our daily engagements.

The above photo shows the road that is flooded with rain water, the vehicles on that road are actually taking a risk to drive the road, as a result many persons happen to stay away from home till late in the when the rain water has subsided. I did not know how bad it was untill when i got to the seen of the incident, when i saw the volume of water floating the entire street, i knew it not a joke.

You can see how the tricycles are trying to navigate through the current of water , at some point the tricycle was stocked in the water and there was no way to help, as such i had to trek so pretty long distance to get home.

As i was walking down home, i had the privilege of taking some shots, i know you will like it, I noticed the amazing beauty of the cloud, that happened to be my first short of the cloud, it may not be that good but am excited that i attempted the short.

while i was still enjoying my walk, i saw this local hen trying to find food for the young once, it so caught my attention, how the hen will carefully gather for the young chicks.

I carefully stood by to observe the hen and the chicks, it so bless my heart as i carefully observe them.

I really find this walk so interesting and amazingly, i must say that, its worth doing it again again and again.
Its was initiation painful but as i continued, i found it more interesting.

This is my first post to this community and a am already feeling good and i hope to be here again and again.
