Insecurity and Terrorism eating off the fabrics of the Nigerian Economy: Were do we do from here?

Hi friends, am so glad to be here this will be my post on the #deepdives community and i want to share a few thoughts that has so bordered me as a person and as well has great impact negatively on our nation.

The issue of insecurity, a few years ago all started like a joke, we were thinking that it was a religious misconception, but over the years it has grown from an idea to become an institution, so far as we can see, this issues has put the Nigerian government in a major challenging situation that will need God himself to handle.

It began with the activities of boko haram, which was effectively in the north, we saw how lives were lost, properties were massively destroyed, for reasons unjustifiable, I am from the southern region of Nigeria, though we were directly not affected at the south, as the news began to fly about the bombings by the suicide bomber, we saw sporadic shootings of innocent, peaceful and unarmed citizens, we saw pictures of how human beings were roosted as animals without regret at heart. It graduated to the burning of the security units like the police station and the others, worship centers, invasion into schools for the kidnaping of school children like the chi bug girls and other young ladies whom we can not tell of their fate now, After a while, the issues ranging from rape, kidnaping, armed robbery, murders, mass destructions of life and property etc.

The Niger delta guys also gang up and set a system, called militant. The also said, that they will not be left out of it, as such the activities of militancy became institution that stirred the activities of insecurity, also became the order of day in the south south, that made life so uncomfortable for both indigenes and visitors, we had the height of it at some point in our daily activities. when the Niger delta militant, began to vandalize the oil facilities, even when this issues were only captured in certain locations of the nation but then its impact was felt by all.

While we were trying to recover from the boko haram in the north and the Militant in the south, the government of President Goodluck Jonathan, as a south south fellow, was able to call to other the militancy set, by granting amnesty and life began to be beautiful and safe in the south south region but the activities of the boko haram was prevailing. and as God will have it, the Jonathan regime transited to the Buhari regime, President Buhari at campaign activities did promise that as soon as he gets into leadership, He will make the boko haram challenges becomes a thing of the past, but as He came in, the system re-enforced and as well metamorphosed into a more dangerous class of terrorist, (Fulani Herdsmen) which began to invade the northern communities down to the the south, this time, was for the destruction of life stocks and agricultural produce, we saw how the worth of one cow was equivalent to over ten men, how do i know, we saw how the government of the day began to value cows much more than humans.

The Fulani invasion, in the north and south regions became another major insecurity that is facing the country, it is not a news that Nigeria is listed amongst the terrorist country in the world but my worries are the lives and properties that has been waited, today especially in the north, a great number of citizens have been rendered homeless, many families have as a matter of fact lost their love once, young children have become orphans without any hope of having a better future.

This has really affected the national economy of the nation and has made all effort useless , trying to stop or tackle the challenges that the terrorist have brought on the country. my question is if the government can not help were do we go to in a time like?.
