Offense is OK; it's what gets a team to D playoffs. What the Knicks cannot have (as Clyde likes to say) is Matador-D. To win a championship, the Knicks will need both Hall of Famers-to-be as well as (also as Clyde likes to say) Maniacal-D.
KAT has star power. For the Knicks, that's a nice-to-have quality in a talented player.
