Me Playing Tears of the Kingdom for the First Time! 🥰

Hello, Gamerz! 😊

Can't you tell I am a big fan of The Legend of Zelda franchise? 😜 I finished BOTW and Hyrule Warriors, and now I am exploring TOTK. Woohoo!

The game was released last year and there is no way I am gonna pay the full price which is 70 USD on eShop. 🤨 Physical copy is around 50 USD at local online shops.

As a broke ass, I opted to preloved physical copy on Greenhills. Happy that I got it for 2000 PHP (36.14 USD) Eyyy~ 🤩 I used my bargaining tactics to lower the price from 2,200 PHP. 😁

‼️⚠️ There are spoilers ahead! So if you do not want to, you might want to skip this part ‼️⚠️ 😁

The game started with Zelda and Link exploring the deeper part of the Hyrule Castle.

Zelda went from long hair to short hair which suits her well. 🥰 I feel like she has a more mature aura here.

Nothing changed aside from the hair, but I feel like she trusted Link more now to be beside her.

This scene was so dark I had to put my brightness all the way up. This is the first encounter of a shrine.

Different look compared to BOTW. It has an egg-shaped like structure, plus a flowy aura of blue and green at the top.

Ooops! something happened here but I will not tell you. 🤭 This scene was too good not to take a screenshot.

Let's skip to the awakened Link with a new arm.

From bazillion hearts to now just three. 🤨 This is the first time seeing the skies of Hyrule.

Breathtaking, peaceful, literally over the clouds. 🌫 I was scared for a minute about falling even though it was just a game. 😆 It kinda triggered my megalophobia too...

No paraglider at this point so I have to directly dive into a deep body of water or else it's game over. 😆

That lily pad is freaking huuuuge. I met the first guardian... and it was not friendly at all.

Not all sky guardians are anti-social, and this one gave me the pad that will help me throughout the adventure. Sheikah Slate vs. Purah's Pad. The same, just different names and minor differences.

You know an NPC has a big role in the game when he has this elemental aura. 😆 Kind of reminds me of the creature from the movie Princess Mononoke.

Run, Link, run! 😆 It was hard running around without a paraglider and horse. This island was confusing as hell. 😩

Some items that I gathered around the sky island. The third item from the left is called Zonai charge. This will be helpful in crafting vehicles.

Link's new ability is called ascend. Link can pass upward through solid objects like concretes and wood structures. Handy when you want to take shortcuts.

Gatcha gatcha Zonai version. 😆 Instead of candies and trinkets, Zonai stuff will be ejected in the form of balls.

The fan attached to the edge was from the gatcha gatcha machine. I had to attach it at a certain angle to make things move in the right direction.

The fan's energy is depleting so I have to make sure I have a safe landing before it runs out.

I am still learning about the Zonai stuff as it is new in the game.

Free building materials to whatever to be crafted. It can be a wagon fastened to the horse or a plank and wheels with a Zonai joystick.

An ability to make templates helps build repetitive items.

This man is guarding the entrance of the new lookout landing near the chasm-ized Hyrule castle. It is headed by Purah, once a form of a little girl from the Hateno laboratory.

Now and then, the red moon rises as the triggering scene for the monster to return to life again. TOTK has stronger monsters compared to BOTW. Even got armors and horns now. 😆 I find the family of monsters with a leading mama a bit funny 😆 I don't like to kill a family just to get monster parts haha!

I have many more quests and adventures to finish. I believe I am not yet at 5% of the game. No rush as I want to enjoy the sceneries and story.

Overall, a fail-proof game. It never disappoints me every time! 😁
