Tassels: An excellent decoration element

Una borla, es un excelente elemento de decoración que luego de unir una cantidad de hilos, la que se desee, se amarran dejando un color largo para luego esta borla pueda ser usada en donde sea requerida.

Las borlas se pueden realizar en cualquier tipo de hilo y en los colores que se deseen, inclusive se pueden combinar diferentes colores de hilos y así lograr una borla multicolor.

A tassel is an excellent decoration element that after joining the desired amount of threads, they are tied leaving a long color so that this tassel can then be used wherever it is required.

The tassels can be made with any type of thread and in the colors you want, you can even combine different colors of threads and thus achieve a multicolored tassel.

Recientemente, la mayor de mis dos sobrinas se graduó de Ingeniero Telemático, y eso aún me tiene muy feliz, quise hacer algo diferente para la decoración, y revisando en pinterest me conseguí que se podía hacer birretes y que estos representarán los floreros, eso me pareció original, novedoso y muy elegante.

Esta idea, se la comenté a un amigo para que me ayudará en este proyecto. Nos organizamos, compramos materiales y todo lo que se necesitaba. Él se encargaría de hacer los birretes y yo las borlas que irían en cada birrete.

Recently, the eldest of my two nieces graduated as a Telematics Engineer, and that still makes me very happy, I wanted to do something different for the decoration, and checking on Pinterest I found out that you could make mortarboards and that these will represent the vases, that made me happy. It seemed original, novel and very elegant.

I mentioned this idea to a friend so he could help me with this project. We organized ourselves, bought materials and everything that was needed. He would be in charge of making the caps and I would be in charge of making the tassels that would go on each cap.

Fascinante ver el resultado de los floreros en forma de birretes y las borlas acompañando esta maravilla de resultado. En este punto lloraba de alegría y de imaginar la felicidad desbordante de mi amada sobrina.

Fascinating to see the result of the vases in the shape of mortarboards and the tassels accompanying this wonderful result. At this point I was crying with joy and imagining the overflowing happiness of my beloved niece.

Mi sobrina tiene una mascota de raza teckel llamada Eva luna, ella dice que Eva es su hija. También le hicimos un birrete para que estuviera igual que su mami.

My niece has a pet dachshund named Eva luna, she says Eva is her daughter. We also made her a cap so she would look just like her mom.

También hice un tulipán tejido en color morado, ese es el color favorito de mi sobrina, Mi amigo hizo una especie de porta título con el respectivo birrete y yo sellé el resultado con la borla en color morado e hilos dorados.

I also made a woven tulip in purple, that is my niece's favorite color. My friend made a kind of title holder with the respective cap and I sealed the result with the purple tassel and gold threads.

Luego de terminado los floreros en forma de birretes los envié por encomienda, ya que estoy en otra ciudad, me preocupaba se dañarán, menos mal no fue así, llegaros a su destino perfectamente. Mi hermana conversó con el personal de la floristería, llegaron a un acuerdo de qué flores se usarían. Y acá en la imagen pueden ver el resultado. Mi sobrina amó este regalo.

After finishing the vases in the shape of mortarboards, I sent them by order, since I am in another city, I was worried that they would be damaged, thank goodness that wasn't the case, they would arrive at their destination perfectly. My sister spoke with the florist staff, they reached an agreement on which flowers would be used. And here in the image you can see the result. My niece loved this gift.

Mi sobrina amada feliz y agradecida con todos sus detalles, que representan la simbología de su gran logro, graduarse de ingeniero. Y ahora somos colegas. El orgullo y la alegría se mantienen constantemente en mi corazón.
