Trust can be fragile.
Why is it Difficult to Trust?
Hello guys, hope you are all enjoying your week. In our society today there are numerous things that cause us not to trust anyone or easily trust people.
The world is becoming a place where no one feels safe or secure, people are afraid of what will happen to them if they give in to someone else. Will they hurt me? Will they abandon me? Questions like that pop up before someone can give out their trust. Trust is a very fragile thing, once broken it may or may never return. I am going to be talking about a few reasons why it is difficult for people to trust.
ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY
There are a lot of people that have one or two experiences where they trusted someone very deeply and maybe the person did not turn out to be what they seemed to be. A situation where you were in a relationship where you believed that your partner or friend was perfect, not perfect as a human but perfect for you only for you to find out that he was just using you for a goal or to achieve something. In some cases for money or to get connections to meet someone else.
Things like that can be very traumatic, to find out that they were not as perfect and not trustworthy as you thought. It takes a while for people to recover from things like that and open up again, some people don't even recover from that. People get depressed from things like that and their lives are never the same.
PEOPLE'S EXPERIENCES
As a person that does not want to experience something that you have heard bad things about, you would find it difficult to trust people when you hear of people's trust being broken everytime.
There are people who are easily spooked by the bad things they hear around them. Imagine a person who has friends that everytime they talk, they are talking about how someone they trustes backstabbed them or how they can never get into a relationship again because they partner broke their trust, they keep telling you not to trust anyone. In order not to experience something like that they become close off and distant, deciding that they will never give out their trust easily to anyone.
They are also a group of people that at the beginning they trust very easily, they believe that everyone is good. Those kind of people might not get closed off untill he/she experiences it upto three or four time.
Different people have different reasons why they find it difficult to trust easily.

This is so true! Many times, I find it difficult to trust people because of some experiences I've had in the past or what I hear concerning other people. Usually, it take a while before I eventually give a new person the chance to prove themselves.

A lot of people have heartbreaking stories about how their trust was broke by their loved ones but I believe that there are still trustworthy people out there.
