A moment with my daughter. || Un momento con mi hija.

Hay veces que en medio de mucho movimiento, trabajo, corridas, etc. sucede que "No tenemos el tiempo suficiente para quienes mas nos necesitan" nuestros hijos.

There are times that in the midst of a lot of movement, work, running, etc. It happens that "we don't have enough time for those who need us most" our children.

También llegan los momento que por distintas circunstancias nos permiten estar muy cerca de ellos. En medio de una negociación o reunión con clientes, en mi caso una de mis hijas se acerca diciendo "Papá, quiero estar contigo", inmediatamente le explico que estoy en una reunión importante y que en breve estaremos juntos, luego de unos minutos reflexiono: ¿Que es lo mas importante para ella en este momento?, para mi es la reunión y para ella estar con su papá.

There are also times when, due to different circumstances, we can be very close to them. In the middle of a negotiation or meeting with clients, in my case one of my daughters approaches saying "Dad, I want to be with you", I immediately explain that I am in an important meeting and that we will be together shortly, after a few minutes I reflect: What is the most important thing for her at this moment? For me it is the reunion and for her to be with her father.

Entonces, al terminar con la reunión, inmediatamente nos sentamos en un banco en el jardín de la oficina y dedico unos momentos solamente a prestarle atención y conectar con ella, "Solamente quería abrazar a su papá". Lo entendí y dejé que todo suceda. Han sido unos minutos emocionantes, momento en el que me contó muchas cosas, ideas, y mucho mas, en poco tiempo he aprendido muchísimo no solo de mi hija pequeña, he aprendido a ser papá, he aprendido acerca de la vida y mucho mas.

So after the meeting is over, we immediately sit on a bench in the office garden and I spend a few moments just paying attention and connecting with her, "I just wanted to hug her dad." I understood and let everything happen. It has been an exciting few minutes, a moment in which he told me many things, ideas, and much more, in a short time I have learned a lot not only from my little daughter, I have learned to be a father, I have learned about life and much more.

De allí es que comenzamos a realizar fotografías y entretenernos aprendiendo uno del otro y como aprendizaje quiero compartir que: Solo debemos detenernos a reflexionar un instante ¿Que es lo que nuestros hijos están necesitando en el momento que se están manifestando? conectemos con ellos y nos sorprenderán los resultados.

That's where we started to take pictures and entertain ourselves learning from each other and as a lesson I want to share that: We just have to stop and reflect for a moment. What is it that our children need at the moment they are manifesting? Let's connect with them and we will be surprised by the results.
