Dragon Fruit Farm
Have you tried eating dragon fruit? Some call it pitaya or strawberry pear but here in the Philippines we call it dragon fruit. It's very famous here during summer but it's kind of pricey compared to other fruits. What I love about this fruit is that you can eat it everyday because it's rich in fiber and a good antioxidant.
We were so amazed to see a dragon fruit farm in the resort that we visited. They just harvested it a week before we went so we only had their freshly blended shake and dragon fruit torta for us. It was absolutely delicious, that we even ordered a box of their torta when we went home.
If you haven't tried eating dragon fruit then I swear it is so delicious. Sadly, we can't just buy one from the supermarket or in grocery store because like avocados it's not always available. We still have to wait for the next harvest season but it' worth the wait.
