El viernes pasado fue un día muy especial para mí, porque hace 15 años cargaba por primera vez a mi sobrina @genesisfgdo entre mis brazos y de un día para otro, porque el tiempo pasa muy rápido, ya hoy en día está en la plena primavera de su vida con la celebración de sus primeros 15 años, pues, siempre tenemos que estar con la convicción de que la existencia y el destino nos tienen preparado para todos, grandes cosas para disfrutar de ellas por mucho tiempo.

Como señalo en el título de este post esta fue la primera parte de su celebración, ya que por circunstancias lamentables en la familia (la muerte de mi bisabuela), pospusimos la fiesta para dos semanas arriba, cuando ya haya pasado un poco el proceso general de duelo. No obstante, era imposible que dejáramos pasar este día tan especial y, por ello, preparamos algunas cosas para reunirnos por la noche y hacer una pequeña e íntima pero gran celebración.

La planificación que hicimos fue salir a un restaurante estilo rodizio de la ciudad, relativamente nuevo, pero que es, para mis gustos y según mi opinión, el más hermoso de los que he visitado, por lo que para la ocasión era el más indicado. Nos reunimos todos puntualmente a las 8:00 pm, nos tomamos algunas fotos antes de pedir o buscar algún servicio y luego estábamos todos expectantes (menos mi sobrina) de la sorpresa de la noche, que en seguida les paso a comentar.

Resulta que mi sobrina tiene un hermano en el exterior, entonces hablando con él, me comentó que quería regalarle y darle una sorpresa a su hermana para sus 15 años. Concordamos en que iba a ser un teléfono iPhone y que íbamos a estar pendientes de qué cosa sería lo más factible realizar, si él enviaba el dinero y lo comprábamos por aquí o él lo buscaba por allá. Él se encuentra en Estados Unidos, y allá los teléfonos a medida que salen nuevas versiones, los anteriores se consiguen más económicos. Sin embargo, el problema era ahora el envío, ya que tenía que hacerse con bastante días de anticipación. Mi sobrino recordó que un familiar viajaba acá a Venezuela unos días antes del cumpleaños de mi sobrina, por lo que lo enviaría con él, así fue, y así se pudo contar con el regalo con días de anticipación, y mi sobrina ni enterada todavía de nada, ja, ja, ja.

Cuando ya estábamos en el restaurante, como les decía, teníamos la inquietud de cuándo llegaría la sorpresa, puesto que nos habían dicho que a las 8:00 pm ya estaría allí, incluso hasta hubo algunas cosas que se salieron de control, como que los que traían el delivery llamaron a mi sobrina, la cual se supone no debía saber nada del regalo, ja, ja, ja, pero bueno son cosas que también a veces forman parte de este tipo de situaciones. Lo importante es el significado de este momento que se planificó y que quisimos compartir, pues, celebrar la vida siempre será algo importante, pero existen etapas que marcan nuestra existencia de manera especial, las 15 primaveras de una joven forman para de ellas, ya que implica el mejor momento para soñar en grande y sin miedo luchar por construir esa vida en plenitud que todos deseamos.

Last Friday was a very special day for me, because 15 years ago I carried for the first time my niece @genesisfgdo in my arms and from one day to another, because time goes by very fast, today she is already in the full spring of her life with the celebration of her first 15 years, well, we always have to be with the conviction that existence and destiny have prepared for all of us, great things to enjoy them for a long time.

As I point out in the title of this post, this was the first part of her celebration, since due to unfortunate circumstances in the family (the death of my great-grandmother), we postponed the party for two weeks before, when the general grieving process had already passed. However, it was impossible for us to let this special day pass us by and so we prepared a few things to get together in the evening for a small, intimate but big celebration.

The planning we did was to go out to a rodizio style restaurant in the city, relatively new, but which is, to my tastes and according to my opinion, the most beautiful restaurant I have ever visited, so for the occasion it was the most suitable. We all gathered punctually at 8:00 pm, we took some pictures before ordering or looking for any service and then we were all expectant (except my niece) of the surprise of the night, which I will tell you about in a moment.

It turns out that my niece has a brother abroad, so talking to him, he told me that he wanted to give a surprise to his sister for her 15th birthday. We agreed that it was going to be an iPhone phone and that we were going to be pending on what would be the most feasible thing to do, if he sent the money and we bought it here or he looked for it over there. He is in the United States, and there the phones as new versions come out, the previous ones are cheaper. However, the problem now was shipping, as it had to be done well in advance. My nephew remembered that a relative was traveling here to Venezuela a few days before my niece's birthday, so he would send it with him, and so it was, and so we could count on the gift days in advance, and my niece still did not know anything, ha, ha, ha, ha.

When we were already at the restaurant, as I said, we were worried about when the surprise would arrive, since we had been told that at 8:00 pm it would be there, there were even some things that got out of control, as the delivery people called my niece, who was not supposed to know anything about the gift, ha, ha, ha, ha, but well, these are things that are also sometimes part of this kind of situations. The important thing is the meaning of this moment that was planned and that we wanted to share, well, celebrating life will always be something important, but there are stages that mark our existence in a special way, the 15 springs of a young woman are part of them, as it implies the best time to dream big and fearlessly fight to build that life in fullness that we all want.
