He woke up to the darkness around him, it was so dark that he could barely see a thing. But it wasn't just about the darkness though, he just realized that he was blindfolded... Ah!!! He exclaimed, where am I? That was the question he asked hoping for an immediate answer but none came at first. He shouted the second time

Where the hell am I? And a voice in the dark room responded to him
"Keep shut young man, we are not here for questions and answers so you better stay calm before I blow off your brains"

That was when Vicente realized that he has been kidnapped. The only thing that keeps on coming to his thoughts was his mother words, she was the last person he saw before leaving Abuja to Ibadan she has always warned him about taking bus from the park and not entering any bus that drove pass him.

Vicente could perceive the smell of smoke covering the whole room, he could no longer hold his breath so he cough out loud... Capoul ( the leader of the gang) finally spoke up, asking one of his men to switch on the light.

Immediately the light was turned on, it was like the sun reflect it beautiful light to Vicente's eyes and he wasn't able to see for about 40 seconds.When he gain his sight, he realized that he wasn't the only on held captive..

The room was large but looks like an abandoned place, dusty floor placed with cartons on one side of the room in replacement of a bed, the window are old wooden once, and two old fashioned chair which capoul is sitting on one..

The capoul asked one of his men to untie them and he addressed the saying
" You all are under our captive and front tomorrow we are going to kill you and sell your part out to those who knows the value of your body parts" he said it with a hard laugh. He whispered to his gang saying " that woman over there will be the first to be slaughtered by tomorrow and sold out" and they all left the room locking it in a safety way for no escape.. Vicente overheard he and fear gripped him, the thought of his mother tell him no matter the situation he finds himself, he should for way to find a solution to escape the problem.

Vicente called for the attention of the other captive telling them his idea on how to escape the place. Some where fully interested while other where still the the shadows of there tears and fear.

The wooden window was his escape idea.. when the window was finally opened they all jumped down the window which led them to the back of the house. They couldn't go for the front gate cause it might be risky, so they have no option than to jump the fence..

Capoul and his men drinking and smoking so hard outside decided to go check their captives through the backyard. Vicente and the rest hard their footsteps as they go in so they quickly jump the fence and ran through the darkness not knowing where they where running to, but they had to. Capoul and his gang were surprised to find out that the captive has find there way out and he shouted at his men to go find them and them back alive..
Vicente on the other was running as far as his legs can carry him praying to God for his protection and to lead him Home to his mother.
