Not a walk in the park

Greetings Everyone! Hope you all had a great day.

Today, I will share with you my experience after putting the stress of 5 days on my calves, in just one.

You see, today I went to the gym and I did my regular leg day. However, distractions began to crawl. I ended up talking for some 30 minutes with friends and I did half of my routine, which left me with a sense of guilt and extra energy that made me ask myself: "Why don't we go for a run?"

On paper, It sounded great, but in practice, I had just run two days ago and I'd just finished working out my calves. However, I decided to give It a go.

However, once my legs gave the first 10 steps I felt a weird sensation: needles on my calves and a heaviness like they were made of concrete. Regardless of this, I didn't pay much attention to this and I kept running.

Listening to my advice from two days ago, I ran in the night, and I could feel a huge difference in my cardio. I never felt tired and I even had some energy left in the tank after coming home. However, when I stopped running, I had to sit down for 10 minutes, because I could barely walk.

The good thing:

My calves had a really good pump.

The bad thing:

It felt like someone had hit my calves with a baseball bat repeatedly.

Despite all this, that run was really satisfying and It showed me that there's always a way to burn extra calories in the day.

That being said, I hope that you could have learned something from this experience, and If you have any insights to share, feel free to tell me.

Thank you for your support and good luck!
