Repeating regret - Original Poem
An exercise in repetition
Shoutout to geralt and Pixabay
Regret is inside your mind
On the tip of your tongue
Regret is between your eyes
Making a knot in your throat
Regret is yesterday's tomorrow
Regret is what remains
Regret's the bits of sorrow
Still running through your veins
Regret doesn't say goodbye
Regret says hello to stay
Regret makes your skin turn white
And your hair dye gray
Regret's what I have tonight
But not of seeing you again
Regret's what brought you to my mind
And I know you feel the same.
