Keeping many projects is a form of procrastination - My 5 minutes a day #11
Shoutout to moise_theodor and Pixabay.com
As someone who's constantly juggling between projects, I've found that those times when I feel most productive are when my attention is solely focused on getting something done.
Whether It is an essay, a demanding blog or a programming prompt that takes me days to solve, I find in those challenges the biggest satisfaction. However, when my focus is dispersed, I suffer.
Jumping between different tasks in the day might seem like something productive, and I agree with that most of the time, as long as all these activities help you reach a common goal. The problem in my case, is that in this point, shifting from one project to another feels counterintuitive.
That's why I figured out something: Keeping many projects can be used as a form of procrastination, delaying the pain of facing the most difficult yet rewarding work during a prolonged period of time.
And It's because of this that I decided to zero in with my efforts in only one thing for the next week.
Will It be blog posting? Will it be Content Writing? Will It be programming?
We'll see.
