If you are a person with big dreams, you will find that they require a great deal of effort and years of preparation. However, something you have to know: The only way to make them closer will be through action.

By now you might believe that if you don't do something that gets you 25% right away you don't have a chance. However, this is not true.

When they start, professionals understand that no task can be accomplished immediately. This is why they apply a strategy that nobody takes into account:

They take the goal and break it down into small steps to take.

How does this work? Well, let's see it with an example:

Let's say you want to become a famous book writer. This is quite an ambitious goal, which may scare many away from achieving it. However, if we take the approach of breaking it down into steps, we will be able to determine the actions that we can take now.

So, we know that the way for an author to become famous is through a book and its publication, and for now we don't have a book written or the skills to capture the attention of an audience. This is why our first task will be:

  • Create an audience of writers.
  • Investigate how to attract people through our writing
  • Complete our first book.

Then, we are left to break this down into even smaller steps:

  • See growth strategies in social networks.
  • Practice Copywriting and Content Writing.
  • Write one or two pages a day for a 50-page book (It doesn't matter if the result is good or bad).

Thus, we know exactly what we have to do now and our objectives in hand. However, there will come a point where you will master all of this and it will be a piece of cake. This is why, later, you should re-analyze your goals and separate them into compartments again.

With that said, I hope this article has taught you a thing or two about reducing scary goals into small items you can manage today, all so that you can be your best self without feeling paralyzed by the sheer amount of work to be done.

Thanks for your support and good luck!
