Trataré de no dar Spoiler así que sólo contaré lo esencial que se deba saber:
En primer lugar es un anime que nos narra una discusión entre dioses (Griegos,Nordicos,Hindu,Griegos etc) donde se propone darle fin a la existencia de la raza humana pues consideran que en 7 millones de existencia ha sido suficiente. Donde claramente muchos dioses hacen su intervención entre los más importantes Shiva (Dios de la creación y destrucción), Afrodita (Diosa de la belleza), argumentando que la raza humana no aprende de sus errores que si continúan así destruirán el mundo donde habitan, pues contaminan océanos, dañan los bosques, extinguen animales entre otras cosas a lo que todos los demás dioses están de acuerdo y es una votación unánime para destruir a la raza humano y Zeus quien és que dirige esta reunión da por sentado el veredicto hasta que aparece un nuevo personaje llamado Brunilda solicitando que aún no se dé por hecho esta resolución.

Brunilda es una de las 13 valquiria (semidiosa) donde solicita que no se extinga la raza humana y propone lo que se conoce como el Ragnarok que es una serie de encuentros de uno a uno, entre 13 luchadores dioses y humanos donde el primero en obtener 7 victorias ganan, en caso de los dioses obtener 7 victorias destruirán a la raza humana sin piedad, pero en el caso de que los humanos ganen sobrevivirán por 1000 años más hasta un nuevo dictamen de los dioses. Nunca ha existido un Ragnarok en 7 millones de años, la razón es que un humano no puede ganarle a un dios.

Los dioses consideran esta ley como absurda, y todos creen que no debe darse esta batalla por que es una pérdida de tiempo, a lo que Brunilda comenta que no quieren el ragnarok porque los dioses tienen miedo. Sin duda esto a los dioses les pareció aún más absurdo y es cuando se decide dar esta batalla campal.

Es aquí donde 13 dioses pelearán contra 13 humanos y es donde se pode de verdad interesante pues los que combatiran son:

Si bien aparecen muchos personajes conocidos y algunos que al menos nunca había escuchado de ellos al menos por parte de los humanos pero según investigué son personajes que alguna vez existieron en el mundo real. Se puede pensar que aún así es poco probable que los humanos puedan ganar una pelea, es por eso que las valquirias se unen a esta batalla convirtiéndose en armas para que puedan usarla los humanos y así no se de una batalla desigualdad.

En esta primera temporada solo están tres batallas:

1. Thor vs Lu Bu.
2. Zeus vs Adam.
3. Poseidon vs Kojiro Sasaki.

Quedé muy complacido con cada batalla, pues cada una de ellas es mejor que la anterior, La animación creo que puede mejorar en la segunda temporada, pero la historia que están narrando me parece genial, además que en el transcurso de la batalla aparecen muchos personajes conocidos, como Miguel Angel, Thomas Edison, Galile, Caín, Abel, Ghandi entre otros, algo que me parece sencillamente fascinante.

Finalmente espero con ansias la temporada 2 y ver la batalla de Buddha , Tesla, Leonidas y Jack el destripados que creo que son mis personajes favoritos hasta el momento, así que después de todo los invito a darle una oportunidad a esta historia.

   Finally I look forward to season 2 and see the battle of Buddha, Tesla, Leonidas and Jack the Gutted who I think are my favorite characters so far, so after all I invite you to give this story a chance.
