Kilroy was here, too

image.png

When there is life around us, there will be green.
Imps and garden gnomes, even Kilroy can be seen.
Antarctic and the great white north, have life, to be sure,
But nothing verdant shows itself, white scenery is pure.
Living things bring happiness, surround yourself you should,
Have flowers and plants, and growing things, with
Lots and lots of wood.
The days and leaves never last
Joys of Spring are now long past
Hearken to my words and take heed
Always be careful of your deeds

Wonderful piece @jerrytsuseer least I forget how’s your health? I hope your skin has recovered from what those God forsaking insects did to you

Still recovering, but much better, I actually got some decent sleep last night.
Today, I bought some different creams at stuff, so maybe my a*$$ won't itch off tonight! ha ha ha 😈

That is a beautiful poem! I love the way you use imagery to create a sense of the natural world. The words "green," "imps," "garden gnomes," and "Kilroy" all evoke a sense of childhood wonder and magic. The lines "Living things bring happiness, surround yourself you should" are a reminder that we need to connect with nature in order to be happy and fulfilled.

Facts are facts, the mirror nor the bathroom scales don't lie, let alone the calendar.
I will be 68 in less than a month.
