His Majesty is MIA

↑From a couple of years ago↑
This morning, I deliberately withheld food from His Majesty, so I could be sure He would come in when I needed Him to.
Today was his yearly Rabies Vaccination. In the pic He has His Rabies tag, probably the last time He can be seen with it.
His Majesty absolutely refuses to leave a collar on, so ALL those tags have gone misssing. I have today's in my pocket.
His Majesty struggled a little when I put Him in the cardboard carrier,

complained a LOT all the way there and on the way back I released Him into my car.
The Kittens play a lot in that box, but little do they know they both are going back to the Vet tomorrow afternoon

When I got home, I opened the back car door and let Him out.
That was the last I've seen of Him, that was about 10:15 this morning.
I will miss my baby 'till He comes home.

He JUST came in, eyeing that cardboard carrier suspiciously.

I hope His Majesty returns soon good friend. Pets can be so stubborn about collars no doubt about that. It's really stressful when they disappear, but they usually find their way back. My cat went missing for a whole day and it turns out it was stuck in a pipe at the back of my house.. when it came back I was so happy I never knew I loved her that much.. I hope everything goes well good friend

He came back about an hour ago, it appears he had been weathering the heat under a building, judging by the spider webs on his whiskers.

He'll be back. He's just mad at you. He'll get over it.

According to the internet, cats hold grudges for only 16 hours.

His Majesty returned after about 6 hrs being absent and undetectable.
Then he ate, and He played with the babies a couple of times before bed.
Since they had chosen (thank god) to sleep in the livingroom, I tried to coax His Majesty back onto my bed for the first time in weeks, but I guess it was too soon, or perhaps my bed smells of kitten too strongly now.
