Pineapple and papaya smoothie
Smoothie is one of my favorite, a partner for a healthy lifestyle. It is a blended fruits or vegetables mixed with liquid like milk or juices.
As a mother, I really want my son to love and enjoy fruits and vegetables in different ways. I want him to eat it fresh, raw, salad, cooked and even smoothies. Fortunately, he loves fruits and vegetables.
We love more fruits and vegetables in our daily consumption and we eat meat occasionally.
In the previous day, we have consumed a lot of meat because occasions happened. First my husband treat us for he received some financial blessings. Second, it is my sister in law's birthday and third my sister in law treat my son for having a perfect score in their first quarter exam. It was three consecutive days having meat and it is not really usual for us.
I felt something in my body and I am not comfortable. I am aware that our body can digest meat more longer than fruits and vegetables. I thought I need fruits and vegetables with more fiber.
One day, I decided to make a smoothie out of the papaya brought by my husband and the remaining pineapple tidbits in a bowl given by my husband's employer.
So, stay with me and let's make:
INGREDIENTS
Ripe papaya (3/4 of it)
Pineapple tidbits (four bowls of pineapple tidbits)
PROCEDURE
Step 1. Wash and slice papaya. Remove it's seeds.
I supposed to use the whole papaya but my son can't stop himself and he really wants to eat the raw fresh and ripe papaya. I gave one slice out of four to him. So, I just 3/4 of the papaya for this smoothie.
Step 2. Remove papaya meat and put it to the blender.
You can really eat this one directly and this is also delicious but this time we will make a smoothie that our body can easily digest and absorbs.
Step 3. Add pineapple tidbits in the blender.
Pineapple tidbits in a bowl has a juice in it but I decided to remove it.
My son drink its juice and he loves it because it is sweet.
Step 4. Blend it.
You can add juices or water depending on your preference. In my case I just use it pure because the papaya itself has a smooth texture.
Put it in the serving glass and it is ready.
I and my son loves it. We were able to produce about four glasses of papaya and pineapple smoothie. My husband is not around when I make this that's why I just prepared two glasses and give some to our neighbor.
It is so easy to make smoothie, right? Blender is your number one partner for doing this.
Make your own and fill your stomach with this healthy smoothie.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you love smoothies too.
It's really a wonderful combination. I have never tasted it and nor even thought about it. But I will try it once. If this will make me feel good then I will remain stick to it.
Try it and for sure you will like it especially if you will use sweet papaya and pineapple.
Frankly, papaya is not in my likeliness list but pineapple is one of my favorites. But for sure when I will go back home I will request my mother to make this combination. May be she will say Are you crazy?
Really? It is not common to make that kind of smoothie there?
Oh nice, I should tell this combination to mom. We still have some papaya left and actually marami pang paratingin coz we have a tree of papaya in our yard. Mom will surely enjoy this lalo favorite din non ang papaya uwu
Yes sis nung papaya na muntik Ng namatay hehehe. Try it sis pwede nyu dagdagan ng water if gusto nyu mas smooth.
Sige sige, salamat sa pag share ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

Looks good. We have both growing in the garden so I'll probably try it. And I bet it's really nice frozen as well!
Yes it is nice too when it is cold. In our case it is just fresh because we don't have refrigerator. You can blend some ice cubes along to have it cold.
Try it and I am glad to know what you an say about it.
Hello @jenthoughts , delicious smoothie. Could you please indicate the quantities of each ingredient? Including the water, and also how much of the drink you got from your recipe. Thank you.
Hello @amazingdrinks thank you so much for this question. I have mentioned some in the post and not about others.
Water? I never used any because papaya texture is so smooth for me.
Papaya, I mentioned I just used 3/4 of it because my son ate the other 1/4 of it.
Pineapple, I just used that four bowls of pineapple tidbits.
It made about four glasses of smoothie.
May I know if this is enough? Or I really need to edit my post? Thank you in advance.
Good morning @jenthoughts
It is always necessary to indicate the quantities, unless it is an ingredient that may vary according to the reader's taste. Please edit your post, and indicate how much of each fruit you used and how much of the drink you got.
Okay thanks for the advise

very easy to make. the only ingredients are pineapple and papaya. Very refreshing if you drink it during the day.
Yes so easy, you can make it as soon as you have the two ingredients.
