Happy new year and HPUD

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

Time flies so fast and we are now in the first day of the year 2024. I know that we are all grateful that we surpass the ups and downs of the year 2023.

Grateful beyond measure

We are so grateful for all the blessings we have received throughout the year, from the air we breath, the water we drink and the sun that makes the world bright.

We are also grateful for the good health that even there were times we suffered from sicknesses but still God save us and restore our health.

We are so grateful for our family that even there were times that misunderstanding arises, still He helped us to forgive and let the love rule over everything.

We are also grateful for the trials, challenges and problems that comes in our lives because it helps us to learn and to grow as a person.

Celebrating new year

Celebrating new year with family is one of the first precious gifts we received at the beginning of the year.

I am so blessed to have with my family around in the new year and celebrating it with them is so precious.

I and my family decided to celebrate new year together at my brother's house. We decided what to cook or bring earlier so we will have different menu or food to prepare.

Early morning yesterday, I started to cook macaroni salad, a food that is so common in Filipino table during this occasion.

My brother cooked fried chicken and lumpia and his wife made mango tapioca. My husband cooked chicken adobo and pancit.

We also have some fruits, cake and soft drinks. Those are the food we prepare to welcome new year.

Picture taking

Picture taking became a part of every celebration and it usually happens first before partaking the food. When everyone is ready we already had our picture taking.

Here is my small family, I, my husband and our son. We are happy to be with my family this new year.

Here is my family, my mother, my sister and my younger brothers. We are eight but our father already passed away so our family will never be complete since he died. My brother is also in other cities so he is not around too but he sponsored for our t-shirt so we have a uniform t-shirt today.

Looking at these pictures made me thank God for the family He gave where love, unity and understanding bind us together.

Hive Power Up Day

I know that I became inactive in hive in the last quarter of 2023 but hive became a part of my life so I will still be here even I know that I will be just coming in and out.

Today is not just a new year but also a hive power up day. I wanted to grow my account even a little so I powered up 10 hive today.

I am hoping that I can still grow my account even a little despite of being so inactive here.

In this new year, I am praying that may our Almighty will bless us in all aspects of our life. May the day will go and we will become better than yesterday.
