Our small Jamaican plant is full of flowers. [Esp-Eng]
Some months ago, we got some Jamaica seeds, and we planted them in our house in Puerto Ayacucho, but we also threw some seeds, in a pot in my parents' house before we left, several months ago.
No plant grew in our house, maybe because of the intense heat during all those months, we really like this silver, its color, its smell and of course its flavor when making tea infusions. It has so many benefits, it is simply a great plant that we really wanted to have.
Hace algunos meses, conseguimos algunas semillas de Jamaica, y las sembramos en nuestra casa en Puerto Ayacucho, pero también lanzamos algunas semillas, en un matero en la casa de mis padres antes de irnos, hace varios meses atrás.
Ninguna planta creció en nuestra casa, quizá por el calor intenso que estuvo haciendo durante todos esos meses, nos gusta mucho esta plata, su color, su olor y por supuesto su sabor al hacer infusiones de té. Tiene muchísimos beneficios, es simplemente una planta genial, que de verdad queríamos tener.
A few weeks ago we returned to my parents' house to visit and support some family matters and among so many things, we had not even been able to see the plants, until just a few days ago, to our surprise, a small Jamaica plant had grown and was already giving us some flowers.
Hace algunas semanas volvimos a la casa de mis padres de visita y apoyar en algunos asuntos familiares y entre tantas cosas, ni siquiera habíamos podido ver las plantas, hasta a penas hace unos días, para nuestra sorpresa, había crecido una pequeña planta de Jamaica y además, ya estaba regalandonos algunas flores.
What surprises me the most about this plant, is that being so small it is giving so many flowers, because all the ones I had seen before gave flowers when they had a certain size, some were even taller than me, even so that only makes me like my little plant even more.
I also thought that when flowers came out, they came out all at once with that wine color and that peculiar beauty, but no, first it is a beautiful white flower with a little pink and wine color in the center, it is simply beautiful from its beginning.
Lo que más me sorprende de esta planta, es que siendo tan pequeña esté dando tantas flores, pues todas las que había visto antes daban flores cuando tenían cierto tamaño, algunas incluso eran más altas que yo, aún así eso solo hace que mi plantita me guste aun más.
También pensaba que cuando salían flores, salían de una vez con ese color vino y esa peculiar belleza, pero no, primero es una hermosa flor blanca con un poco de rosado y color vino en el centro, es simplemente hermosa desde su inicio.
Plants are not only super necessary for our life, but they also give it color and variety, and this in turn gives us a lot of joy, and this is what I felt when from all those seeds one of them grew and gave us its beauty.
Las plantas no sólo son super necesarias para nuestra vida, sino que también le dan color y variedad, y esto a su vez nos da mucha alegría, y esto fue lo que sentí cuando de todas esas semillas una de ella creció y nos regalo su belleza.
I thought it was okra! Hehe
