Neglect Not Your Family

This is me and my sister.

I am so busy of a person that even when I'm just having coffee, I sometimes go to the toilet to have more minutes to do some things in a day. Multi-tasking is a developed skill to me as I have lots on my plate as usual.

Some of you folks know that I own a store and I raise hogs for a living. I have cats, dogs and chickens as my hobby. I am a one person in the store and everything, just everything, I do it alone. I do all the cleaning, the calculation of products to be purchased, analysis of what's fast moving and which one doesn't sell at all.

I do the serving of feed; the cashier, the bagger and the noter.

It's physically taxing.

I have community service on Saturday and thus, I'm paying my brother to manage the store while I'm away but I still do the accounting and I'm rewriting sales of that day.

I go house to house on Saturdays and it's church day on Sundays. I have to do my laundry personally sometimes and I know I could never maintain doing this.

I'm currently enrolled in a Master's curriculum via zoom and I do have the online class every Monday night, 8-10pm. All other days, I have to study the lesson material in my own pacing as we have online exams every Friday.

This was the first meeting last Friday.
And now, honestly, another activity on Friday is added and my brother will have to skip school or I'll close the store. It's intensive teaching of parents in remote areas in three aspect of life namely: health, livelihood and values.

I have a sow that is about to give birth and maybe tomorrow but I can't stay with her for I have to be there in the meeting after lunch. I need to be here in store in the morning for Bryan needs to process his papers for college.

The point is, I'm really so busy, so tired all the time. I have all the reason to say "no" to most things but one thing is a fact, I shouldn't neglect my family when there's a need to bond, to spend time with them.

So here it is.

We went to our farm and had buko, kamatsile and mango. I didn't took a picture as I'm in phone talking to Bryan in store having trouble with customers' order. Yeah, I can't be with them a 💯 but I'm trying my best.

I'm glad they appreciate it.
