Coffee Rubbed Burger - Meraki - Litchfield, Connecticut - Review
Recently I stopped by Meraki in Litchfield, CT for lunch. I decided to order the Coffee Rubbed Burger, which comes with Bacon, Tomato, Swiss, Meraki Pickle, Crunchy Shallot, Lettuce and Mayo. I ordered it "Medium" but unfortunately there was absolutely no pink in the meat, and it was served up in more of a "well-done" fashion. Regardless, it was still pretty good thanks to the plethora of toppings. Overall, it was a good sized burger and not exactly something that will leave you hungry for more. And as you can see by the photo, the certainly make it look damn good. Regardless, I've tried a few different things on Meraki's menu over the course of the years and all of the food is great, but I don't think I would order the burger again. There's too many other unique, delicious options on the menu.
I will note, the owners of Meraki are politically retarded... but that doesn't stop me from enjoying their food.

I mean, that looks absolutely delicious, a good burger in every way! Too bad about the point of the meat, so cooked it loses the delicacy of the flavor. The bread looks spectacular.
Well, if there are more options you have to try them, enjoy!

Hey @jeffjagoe!
I read this post and quickly tried to find this restaurant as the word Meraki is Greek and it means doing something with love and belief and somehow incorporating tradition in all this effort.. they are not Greeks, nor is the restaurant but I'd love to try their food! Take care!!!!
Yeah they don’t look Greek and there is definitely not any real Greek options… but it’s still goood! Thanks for stopping by!
