Wandering Cebu (Part 3) | Balamban Cebu ft. Adventure Cafe
One of my cousins from my father's side and who came from Mindanao, visited Cebu last week and wanted to tour around the city's famous tourist spots.
I was still a child when I last saw my cousin, Kelvin, but I never had the opportunity to bond with him. He also came to Cebu with his family. So, this tour felt like a mini-family reunion.
Of course, my entire family was invited. I was hesitant at first because I had not been informed that we were going on a tour, so I dressed like not ready for it, but no one could stop me, so I decided to go and join the gang.
Kelvin and my aunt rented a van with a complete tour package. I didn't ask how much though but the van is good for 10 to 12 heads with maximum of 16 seaters, so I'm sure if you're going by group, the tour package is affordable and worth it.
This is my first highland tour experience in one of Cebu's provinces. Please come with me as we tour Balamban!✨
Adventure Cafe Cebu
This cafe is more than just a cafe; it has a unique twist. This is also a restobar that serves a variety of delectable Filipino dishes. This is precisely located at Trancestral Hiway, Balamban Cebu in Brgy. Gaas.
Kelvin's kids were the first to try the zipline; I'm sure they love adventure. I'd like to try it, but I got scared by just looking at how far you have to go while hanging before you reach the end? Maybe next time.
Instead, I wandered around the cafe with my parents, who were busy taking photos and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The venue has an almost perfect relaxing view as the background.
The cafe has 2nd floor. This up stares with decorated paintings brightens the mood of the cafe.
This is how the 2nd floor looks like, where the zipline starts. The wall beside this is where the wall climbing at.
I did some research about adventure cafe and find out that this cafe provides a tour to Gaas Falls, which really surprised me. A stressed wall where you are free to throw away plates to break in order to release your stress or emotions, as well as a wall climbing.
If only I knew and had the time, I would go and try. But, because we still had a few stops to make, we only stayed for 30 minutes before moving on.
But before we left, something piqued my interest. Many podlocks were locked in the corridors near the cafe window.
It even includes some names of lovers. It's similar to bridges and towers in other countries, where padlocks were attached to the railings as a symbol of promise to one another.
For more details and information, read more about this cafe HERE.
I wish I had tried at least their coffee or best dishes, but we have a list to go by. I promise to try their Gaas Falls tour and other activities on my next visit! At least I had a reason to return.😉
So, see you in our next destination! 🌸🌻
