Rain OR Shine, we go! Cousins Edition 👭👪❤️

One rainy Friday, my cousins and I took a trip to the city. Because of tropical depression "Paeng," it had been raining on and off all day. And because of the rain, classes have been canceled and everyone has remained indoors. But we, well.. we beats the rain.

It had been a few weeks since I decided to pay a visit to @spontaneoussober at her new apartment in Naga, Cebu (Southern part of Cebu).

We hadn't seen each other in how long (char) since the day I was hospitalized and stuff and when she moved out. So we only chatted online, updating each other on our lives and so on. I can't wait to visit her in her new apartment, so I decided and planned a visit.

A week before that, I received a good news from my brother, he told me that he got included as dean lister. So I ask him to come with me on my plan. However I thought, why not ask our other cousins to come as well. The more, the merrier, right? So, I told my cousin about it and there.. here we are, beating the rain. 😂😂

It took about 4 hours to travel from Danao City (north) to Naga (south). Even though it is raining, the heavy traffic continues. The rain made it even more difficult for vehicles to pass through. But you see, we really love to see each other again so we were never worried and bothered by the rain at all. Rain or shine it is! 😂💪

And we met @spontaneoussober at Minglanilla Gaisano mall and headed straight to public market afterwards.

Then, we bought first our foods to eat since we're having samgyeopsal for dinner. It was still raining but we were never bothered. After buying, we took another ride for 20mins. We were having fun in the Jeep, we didn't really mind how tired we are in walking and wet because of the rain. Good thing I advise them to wear hoodies against the cold.

These are my cousins, from my mother's side.
@jsrhylcorps (Jesrhyl), Luke and my brother Roy. Actually we're not complete. Some of them has families and can't travel far while these ones are just teenagers and single that's why they're so free to go anywhere, for now.

We were having good time while installing the blackout curtain, we're having a drink while waiting for dinner too. Catching up about everything. I was also happy seeing my cousin Vicssie, settling down peacefully and freely in this nice and affordable house/apartment. It may be far from the city but she got everthing covered and work out for her and her son, Verys. I'm so proud of her, a strong independent mom.

So we bought these delicious finger foods and a pork belly, we cut into pieces and marinated for good taste. We also bought kimchi and letus. There are kikiam, fish
balls, ham, hotdog and longganisa too. Sooo yummm! 😍

We can hardly finish them all, we were already full. After that we continued our drinks and stories. We watch horror indian movie but I slept. I woke up few minutes after but they're still drinking 😂😂

I miss this fam. I miss my family so much. Though we're not complete that time but I can totally understand. My heart was really happy that we got to go out and bond amidst the storm. This is what I love being a filipino. I love to be around with family and spend time with them. When I'm with them, the bond and love is just different. You'll feel the care, the happiness and sincerety of one another. Being a family oriented is really a part of our dear filipino culture. ❤️
