Personally, I find it fascinating that the world around us is constantly changing and evolving. It could be a person, a system, the food you eat, a hobby, your way of life, or a once-lonely space that has now become the city's newest and most popular destination. I discovered IL Corso on Tiktok, a well-known social media platform. Fortunately, this is close to Cebu, at South Road Property. We took a bus and traveled for 20 to 30 minutes, from our workplace. We were able to save 30 pesos because it was still a free ride at the time! Regardless of the distance, still many people have said that this is a great place to chill, hang out, or eat because of the positive reviews it has received. So my coworkers @queenmeiko22 and @explorewithsasha and I went to see if the hype was true.

The venue is quite large, with plenty of parking space. This lighthouse wowed me because of its structure, which added a great view to the location, and the dancing fountain which rhymes with the beat of the music playing with its on and off bright lights. Totally an Instagrammable sight for anyone who enjoys taking photos. It is exactly as it appears in viral videos, with a variety of food stalls from which to dine in or dine out. We arrived in the late afternoon/early evening, when it was still quiet and not crowded. Ideal for us to explore. We went for a walk and took in some sights. Until we arrived at our destination, which Mary had advised us to try. Have you ever eaten pig's brain? This is what we called Dip in Bubbles, or "Tuslob Buwa" in our own dialect. A technique that involves dipping the hanging rice directly into the pan after cooking the sautéed pig brain while it is still hot.

The next day was our rest day, and it was simply a good time to unwind. I was glad we got to see the place and would like to try more of their foods for a more memorable experience. Everyone, welcome to IL CORSO, Cebu!
