Hidden beauties in Camotes Island Philippines
It's been a while since I've been able to go out of the city. But when @explorewithsasha offered me to join her on a trip to Camotes Island, I was ecstatic.
Camotes Island has become a second home for me. Actually, I've written about it on this site:
A glimpse of my second home✨🏝️
Summer time is coming! Are you all ready?✨🌞
My last trip to Camotes was to pick up my grandmother and bring her back to Danao. This time, I had another opportunity to explore the island. Allow me to share with you some of the remarkable things I've discovered, which have astounded me and which I believe are the result of our island's natural beauty.
These are stalactites discovered in Timubo Cave. I'd never given them this close of a look before because I was scared they may be dangerous, but they're actually quite harmless. We are not allowed to touch alive stalactites because they will die if we do.
This photo was taken from above at Buho Rock. This is where you leap down a cliff, and as the name implies, these were formerly merely rocks that people developed and built houses on top of. Isn't it incredible? I can't understand how this was once just a rock and has now been transformed into something more lovely.
I was completely taken aback when I first saw this bouquet of flowers. This is the first time I've seen something with a cone shape. This is what they call the Pagoda Flowers, which are highly abundant in tropical places like the Philippines.
While taking pictures of them, this little Rose Moss bloom makes me joy. It comes in a variety of colors, including yellow, red, and pink.
They're lovely, aren't they? They were like girls who were always smiling in the brightness of the sun.
This and more to show on my next post. Thank you for reading! Have a great day ahead, hivers!
Very lovely 😘😘
Trueeeee haha :*
"I can't understand how this was once just a rock and has now been transformed into something more lovely." Super amazing po ng structure nung house. Especially na they didn't destroy 'yung natural rock formation. 🤍
Then, yung pagoda flowers, T^T, ag cutie po ng name, haha. Iba po pala siya sa santan, akala ko same lang, hehe.
True akala ko nga din eh. Pagoda flower pala. Haha
That looks really lovely especially the photo above the rock.
Truly beautiful @macchiata. Its more lovely in person. Come and visit Philippines someday. We have more to offer.😄🥰
