The DAY has finally come..

This is the most anticipated and memorable occasion in our lives as a family. My brother has officially graduated from college. He graduated the Bachelor of Information Technology major in computer technology, a four year course at Cebu Technological University in Danao City Philippines last June 28, 2023.

This university is a well-known public college school in Cebu City, where thousands of students have graduated and have been given the opportunity to thrive in their specialized studies. My brother is one of the lucky students here.

I went straight to my brother's Hooding ceremony after my work, which finished at 8 a.m. During this event, educators/instructors serve as mentors to all graduating students by wearing hoods. Allowing them to understand the significance of the hoods, which represent not only the course itself but also the completion of education that the students have decided to use in the future to be a successful person in life and in their field of work.

Do you know that this is the first time I've seen my brother wearing "the" black toga? I've seen countless students graduate wearing the black toga, but it's different when we know the individual wearing the actual black toga. It gives me shivers and makes me proud that my brother has finally finished college. I honestly became very emotional as the ceremony began and the emcee began calling out the names of the students one by one.

I was just holding myself while watching my brother, wearing the hood, walking down the isle.

It's true. When wearing this type of attire, a person appears more handsome/beautiful, educated, and a whole different person. It's very astonishing how a single piece of clothes can represent something so significant in someone's life as a symbol of achievement and fulfillment.

Our family picture have released too. Sadly my father wasn't in the photo because he had to go to work and can't go unattended anymore for personal reason. I can totally understand my father since he got sick for few days and he just got back to work when the pictorial day happened. But he did his promise to be on the graduation day for us to be complete in the photo.

The GRADUATION DAY🎓

I woke up very early even if the ceremony will start at 1PM in the afternoon that day. I have tons of preparation to do such as prepping my mother's nails, my father cleaning his and my brother's shoes to wear. I had to straighten my hair which really took an hour to finish. And lastly, make my mother beautiful in that day.

As for our attires, I decided for us to wear something blue for that special day. My mother wore this royal blue dress I ordered online and her sandals, while I wore this navy blue dress I bought from a thrift store at Emall for 150 pesos. I also bought the long sleeves of my father and brother from a thrift store near Metro Colon for 65 pesos each. It was really a big save for me. I was able to buy other stuff needed because of how cheap I got our clothes are.

My mother have ironed the clothes at earliest time so its already hanging when I woke up. If I am excited, she's more excited among us. We had our breakfast and my brother had to go to hair salon for hair cut as well. I didn't take much photo of the whole preparation as I mentioned because I was too busy doing my family's nails, yes they trusted me to clean their nails just for that day lol, which took us so long to finish.

I am so thrilled to finish this in one blog but I have to make a Part 2 to share everything during the graduation and how we celebrated afterwards.

But I would like to thank you all for following this special event in my life started on the Pinning ceremony, during the Graduation ball and Ring Hop Ceremony and up to this day, the graduation day. I appreciate you all! See you on Part 2. 🥰🥰

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services.

I've just updated v4v.app and I'm getting ready for some exciting new features after the next hard fork.

Please consider asking your friends to vote for prop #265 or consider unvoting the return vote.

For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I'll also add that I power up Hive every day and usually power up larger amounts on 1st of the Month. I'm on Hive for ideological reasons much more than for only economic benefit.

Additionally you can also help with a vote for Brianoflondon's Witness using KeyChain or HiveSigner

If you have used v4v.app I'd really like to hear your feedback, and if you haven't I'd be happy to hear why or whether there are other things you want it to do.
