A refreshing day at Chawa Keopi + State University Tour (ESSU) 🗺️🧋

My fourth day in Guian has passed, but there are still a few sights to see. After attending mass at
Sulangan Church early in the morning, Sasha and I napped in the afternoon. There's nothing I wish I could do in a place as peaceful and calm as take a nap; province life is amazing, but I can't just nap my entire stay. Every day is so precious to me. I can't wait to see where else Sasha can take me to wander every day.

After our nap, Sasha took me to a milktea shop she'd been telling me about since we left
Alyzza's Cafe. It was also very hot that afternoon, so going for a milktea for refreshments is ideal.

Welcome to Chawa Keopi Milktea Shop

The location is directly across the street from their municipal hall and police station, which I only realized when we're about to go home.

Chawa Keopi is as refreshing as its color is to the eyes, even though it is small and can only accommodate a limited number of customers. There were only a few customers waiting for their orders when we arrived.

They have a couch for resting, a long table for simple meetings, and two-person tables. There are some tables outside too. The shop does not have air conditioner but they have electric fan to use.

We had a good time talking about random topics. While we waited for our order, I took photos of Sasha posing as a shop model (why not?). Haha! As for the prices of their drinks in the menu, they were in reasonable price.

We only ordered drinks because we were already full. I don't remember what I ordered, but this is what it looks like. Both of our drinks taste good, nothing extra ordinary. What I do like was I emptied my cup without knowing its almost finished because I seldom finish my drinks and I'm a bit surprised. Maybe there was something in Chawa Keopi. 😈😄

We finished our drinks and went home. Sasha told me to hurry home so she could show me around her college campus. Just as we arrived home, Lemuel, her cousin, arrived to pick us up and drive us to school. He will also pick up his mother and brother, both of whom work at the university.

Welcome to Eastern Samar State University!

Their campus has a diverse playground of college departments. It also includes their amenities such as a gymnasium, tennis court, function hall, and many others. According to Sasha, there have been many changes since her college days. Students nowadays are extremely fortunate to have educational equipment as an advantage for learning that the school did not previously have.

It was a great day. I learned about more interesting things to see and do in Guiuan. I will undoubtedly include a few more surprising locations in my next blog.
