Always remember that friends can be your family also

After few years of being far apart of my old friend from highschool, she's suddenly appeared in our house last night. I was extremely shocked as in wow! She's didn't forget me to visit even she's saddened with the death of her brother Jun that living at Digos City. She just arrived at Davao city last August 20,2024. She's living at Japan since she got married with a Japanese businessman.

So last August 21,2024 is the burial of Jun. After few days she travelled to my place to visit her mother at the cemetery that been died last year because of diabetes. I really feel how painful of losing someone we love especially if all of them is our own family. But being a diabetic person is really a dangerous disease for me. Then Jennifer tell me, it's really our hereditary. So sad to hear of it. She's also a diabetic person.

Apparently last night, Jennifer just arrived around 6:30pm and then she suddenly appear at my main door. She said "hello Jean" and when I look at the door, "oh nho it's you". Then we hugged each other that we really cried for happiness that we felt that time. It's been a long time since the last time we meet at Davao city. Our kids is in elementary that time but now, our eldest is in College already. Days was so fast right? We're getting old lol.

Since we're done our dinner already and Jennifer wants to drink some beers. Then she want some lechon manok and pork liempo for our pulutan. The happiness that we had last night was totally worth it even were just at home only. Then we don't have enough time to go outside because her nephew fetch him. It's make me sad that we cannot bond longer due to some reason that she need to travel today to visit her auntie at Cagayan de Oro city.
