Thanks @jayna! It looked like the dinner was going to be awesome when I dropped off my dressing (stuffing), but we didn't get to go unfortunately.
You are right about my coworker; it isn't looking good, especially since I gave her a schedule as per what the doc wanted and she's already told me she can't work part of it. He doesn't know yet.
As for the driver.......I think he just dropped it and ran rather than bringing it up to the house; the gate was left open so they could, but instead, they chose to drop it as close to the road as they could away from the house.
