Penúltima carrera de la temporada, una que fue inédita porque fue la número 23 y nunca ha habían habido tantos premios en un año, el fin de semana próximo cerraremos con la 24 en Abu Dhabi. Este premio a nivel de campeonato no definía nada ya que Verstappen se coronó la semana pasada en Las Vegas pero si tenía el atractivo de varias batallas: la del subcampeonato, la del mundial de constructores y la que se está dando por el sexto puesto en dicha tabla. Muchas cosas pasaron el día de ayer, incidentes, sanciones, retiros en la carrera, choques y claro está, las noticias post carreras que siempre darán de que hablar. Personalmente pienso que fue un premio muy entretenido por todo lo que se vivió en él.

Fue un fin de semana de carrera sprint, una que se llevó Piastri y de segundo Norris. Esto hizo que McLaren comenzara bien por aquello del mundial de constructores y sería un buen preámbulo para la carrera principal. El equipo naranja lo único que tenía que hacer era puntuar por encima de Ferrari cierta cantidad de puntos, no menciono a Red Bull porque ellos salieron de la pelea hace rato; también pudieron acercarse un poco a la Ferrari pero de nuevo el Checo Pérez imposibilitó las opciones. Pero volviendo al sábado, veríamos como después de ganarla a Max le quitarían la pole position para dársela a Russell y con eso el festival de penalizaciones daría comienzo. La verdad no recuerdo cuantas hubo pero fue una locura, no paraban de salir anuncios desde la dirección de carrera, una que ayer fue muy cuestionada por cierto.

It was a sprint race weekend, with Piastri taking first and Norris second. This got McLaren off to a good start for the constructors' world championship and would be a good preamble to the main race. Luces apagadas y en apenas la primera curva se desataría el desastre, uno en donde 4 pilotos estuvieron involucrados: Ocon y Colapinto quienes quedaron automáticamente fuera del premio y hubo otro entre Stroll y Hulkenberg el cual supondría 10 segundos para el de Aston Martin. Esto va a titulo personal pero sigo sin entender, más allá del apellido, que hace Lance Stroll en Fórmula 1, inexplicable para mi a estas alturas. En fin, la carrera sería un desorden total, enumerar todo es imposible pero es que casi todos los pilotos, de forma directa o indirecta, estuvieron involucrados en algún tipo de incidentes en pista. Colisiones, falsas partidas, infracciones con el SC y las banderas amarillas, la pista sucia por culpa de esos choques lo que llevó a que varios autos se vieran afectados; todo lo que puede pasar en una carrera pasó ayer en Qatar.

Más allá de eso lo que se vio fue entretenido porque esas cosas son vistosas y cambian constantemente el panorama de la carrera. Vimos cómo Norris perdió el podio por culpa de una penalidad de 10 segundos, como Zhou Guanyu sumó sus primeros puntos de la temporada con Sauber, Pérez volvió a quedar fuera de la carrera y con él las opciones de RB de sumar puntos, un Hamilton totalmente destrozado moralmente con ese Mercedes que nunca rindió al punto que pidió que retiraran el auto, Gasly quedando de quinto y así dándole buenos puntos a Alpine y finalmente Leclerc quedó de segundo lo que hizo que McLaren no pudiera celebrar el campeonato de constructores para mantener con vida a la Ferrari. ¿Que quiere decir esto? - que en Abu Dhabi veremos chispas, quizás más de las que vimos ayer en Qatar.

Pero los premios no terminan una vez la bandera de cuadros es ondeada, no señor, y es que después hemos leído noticias que ha surgido después de lo visto en pista y de cara a Abu Dhabi y a la siguiente temporada. De forma definitiva, aparentemente, se cierra la puerta de Colapinto a Red Bull o RB pero abre otra ventana por ahí. Se supo que Ocon no terminará con Alpine, los franceses le dieron de baja y será Doohan quien desde ya se siente en dicho auto, unos dicen que es una jugada de Briatore para probar al joven australiano y decidir si se quedan con él o van con el argentino Colapinto; otros dicen que es porque Ocon al ser de Hass no quieren que haga más puntos con Alpine para que así el equipo norteamericano tenga más opciones. Nada concreto y seguro pero cuando el río suena...

La verdad no ha sido nada bueno a lo que siempre ha surgido, la cosa es que se esperaba una buena actuación después de lo de Las Vegas pero de nuevo volvió a quedar en deuda. Siento que el mexicano está quebrado mentalmente, lo mejor para él es que la temporada se acabe y se decida de una vez por todas su futuro. Por lo pronto menos de una semana es lo que tenemos que esperar para ver el desenlace de una temporada la cual está cerrando bien apretada en cuanto a luchas, muchas cosas por definir en un circuito que ya tiene historia en este tipo de momentos, sino preguntenle a Verstappen y Hamilton en el 2021.

Una temporada larga. Pero para quienes siguen el deporte de los motores es placentero disfrutar de tantos grandes premios.

Cómo dices, el caos reino en el Gran premio de Catar. Una carrera plana, un circuito que no ayuda muchos al espectáculo, es muy rápido con curvas veloces, Pero la realidad es creo que no está a la altura de la F1, falta adelantamientos. Lo que si me llama la atención es la paridad de las vueltas, todo parejo. En fin una carrera plana que fue arruinada por la FIA y las malas decisiones de sus comisarios, cada vez más penoso todo.

Lo de Pérez es de no creen, no entiendo este bajo de rendimiento cuando con autos de menos rendimiento, hacia un gran trabajo. La verdad es que esto no tiene explicación. RB lo quiere ver fuera Pero no le quiere pagar el contrato, veremos cuál es la decisión del mexicano.

Lo mejor para Colapinto es no ir a Red Bull, sino vea lo que le pasó a Pérez con más experiencia ñ. Está escudería suele quemar a sus pilotos, los vota de un día de otro cuando no le dan los resultados que ellos desean.

Muchos ahora extrañan a Masi al mando de las cosas. Hubo decisiones terribles y lamentables.

Siguen los rumores de que Pérez se va de RB después de Abu Dabi, siento que han tenido mucha paciencia con él, Marko no lo quiere en el equipo, eso se sabe desde siempre. Según sube Lawson lo cual sería un golpe para Tsunoda porque ha estado más tiempo y creo que puede llegar a ser mejor que su compañero actual. Veremos que pasa, esto ya parece una novela mal contada.
