(ESP-ENG) De los mercados de fichajes más movidos ha terminado // One of the busiest transfer markets is over!
Hello friends, good vibes to all.
Finally yesterday ended one of the most hectic and busy transfer markets of recent years in the old continent, one in which several clubs have left large amounts of money showing that the effect of the pandemic is being left increasingly behind. It was also shown that the league that is moving the most capital is the Premier League, the amount of money that some of its clubs disbursed was quite large, Chelsea for example I understand that spent more than 300MM and Nottingham Forest, a newly promoted team, signed more than 20 players for the season that has just begun, this tells us about the economic power in England regardless of whether you are a big or small team.
I think the main feature of this market was the absence of the so-called "soap operas", there was no rumor that marked the whole summer as happened with Mbappé last year, it was one in which the movement that was peeking movement that was given. Perhaps the most expected and that finally did not happen was that of Bernardo Silva to Barcelona but it was already known, or at least I think so, that he was not going to arrive at Camp Nou. There were also no unexpected big bombshells because for example Lewandoswki and Haaland were also known to want to leave their clubs, the issue was where they were going to arrive and how most of them. But well, let's talk about the most relevant in recent weeks.
- Casemiro
Well I take it back, I think this was a move that NOBODY expected to happen considering how solid that position was in Real Madrid along with Modric and Toni Kross and we are talking about one of the backbones of the white house leaving the team that gave him everything soccer wise. His arrival at Manchester was a surprise for a couple of things, the first one because of the situation they were in, it must be said that it seems that they have managed to straighten the course a little with three consecutive victories, but until recently it was quite precarious and the second is because the red devils do not play Champions League this season to which the Brazilian replied that he did not care because he had already won five, if you ask me there is a point there.
For him it is one more challenge in his career and Madrid sold him well, suddenly if he waited one more year the price would have gone down, remember that he was sold for 40 million. He comes to a team that lacks ball recovery but above all playmaking and these are characteristics that he can easily play. He has not started yet, always as a substitute but I imagine that will be a matter of time, Casemiro is not a player who has to be on the bench. We'll see how he does, it was a bold move but I'm confident he will do well and Manchester will gradually recover.
- Wesley Fofana
With Fofana from Leicester they spent more than 80 million, a player who is only 21 years old and who arrives with the mission to make up for the absences of Rüdiger and Christensen. You have to understand that the Blues are paying for expectation and looking to the future in the medium and long term although that always carries risks, Fofana was injured most of last season but the track record he has since his time in France is pretty good. He joins Koulibaly and Cucurella to lead what will be the defensive block which also suffered the recent loss of Marcos Alonso; no doubt Chelsea is a team that was hit in this market but was able to recover with the new additions that arrived at Stanford Bridge.
While we are here, let's talk about those mentioned above. Kalidou Koulibaly comes to Chelsea directly from Napoli for 38 million and Marc Cucurella comes from Brighton for 65 million, that is, in defense alone there is an expenditure of almost 185 million. I know that Koulibaly is a great defender, in the Italian team he proved it, in fact his departure was also a bit of a surprise and Cucurella is a player trained in the Barcelona youth team but never could prove much in Spain. When he arrived in England his value and quality are on the rise and now he will be one of the key pieces of this new Chelsea.
- Edison Cavani
Another pleasant surprise is the landing of Cavani in Spain for the first time in his career, it is very clear the quality and potential of the Uruguayan despite his 35 years, I think he is still capable of contributing a lot to the team and if we consider that we are in the final stretch to the World Cup I can think that he will give the maximum to arrive in the best possible conditions. The negative? - Well, he comes to a team that is not even the shadow of what it was a few years ago to the point that it is not in major European competitions so he will only have to settle for the league and the Copa del Rey. One says it's a bad thing but in the end I think what Cavani wanted was to play and now and at Manchester United he was not going to be able to do it. I doubt that Valencia will recover the lost prestige in the near future but I do believe that they will have guaranteed goals with the Uruguayan matador.
- Pierre Emerick Aubameyang
Another of the big movements in this market was just unveiled or closed yesterday. With the arrival of Lewadowski at Barcelona it was a bit impossible that these strikers could be at least starters, besides that the forward area is a bit crowded and that is why the departures had to be on the side of Auba or Depay, who finally stayed in Spain. If you ask me I would have preferred the departure of the Dutchman because the numbers of the Gabonese with the Culés in his short time were very good, in 23 games he scored 13 goals, not bad those figures. He arrives at Chelsea where the offensive part looks very good with Sterling, Pulisic, Havertz, Mount and now Auba and who also suffered the loss of Lukaku. The decision to leave was a bit strange because until recently Xavi had said he was counting on him but extra-sporting events such as the robbery at his house probably made him change his mind. I think the Blues look very good for this new season, they left many millions in the market with the intention of achieving something relevant in the Champions League and continue making noise in the Premier League.
- Marcos Alonso
I think this is one of the best signings Barcelona has made in recent times. When the deal was announced I didn't really understand Chelsea's position but the thing is that the Spaniard arrives as a free agent to a team that now with his addition will be really impassable in defense. With Araujo, Koundé, Christensen and now Alonso we are talking about a very top defense. Marcos arrives to cover the "gap" of Jordi Alba who, although he can still perform at a good level, it is true that he is not the same, as it is logical, of previous years. One of the teams that moved the most in this market were undoubtedly the Culés, which now means a huge pressure to win titles from their fans. I don't know if they will be at the level to fight for a Champions League but I do believe that with La Liga it is possible that there will be a good battle to win it. Marcos Alonso is quality, power and youth, he is in his best footballing stage and in Barcelona there is no doubt that he will show that and more.
- Leandro Paredes
Juventus is a team that has also quietly made interesting moves in this market. Earlier they got Pogba, Di Maria, another striker Arkadiusz Milik from Marseille and now the Argentine who arrives on loan with an option to buy from PSG. I have said it here several times, Juve's problem is Allegri even though they are undefeated in Serie A in fifth place with 8 points and two points behind the leader, the Italian's style of play is one that is not flashy and does not go with the players he currently has. They win because they have a striker who is a beast in the box and the magic of Di Maria, otherwise I would believe that the story would be different. Paredes already knows Italian soccer, he shone at Roma a few years ago and now he will be the partner of Pogba and Italian international Locatelli. A very good signing for Juve to reinforce that midfield that also awaits the incorporation of Chiesa who is expected to return in October after a long injury.
In other signings we have Arthur Melo to Liverpool, a great move for Klopp's team. Melo never had continuity at Juve and now he arrives to a team where if he manages to mesh he will be more fearsome than he is. Serginio Dest lands at Milan, Draxler to Benfica after his time at PSG and Sergio Reguilon to Atletico Madrid after being at Tottenham and especially Real Madrid. We will see how he is received both by the red and white fans and especially by the Merengues.
¡Un abrazo a todos, nos leemos en la próxima!
Well my people that's all for today, I hope you liked it.
¡Hugs to all, see you next time!

Saludos!!
