Wu Assasins | It could be better

As my need to see kicks, fucks, and bites made its every 4 months appearance in me, I dared to see Wu Assasins, and like the last movie I saw full of very good kicks, fucks and bites was Shang-Chi, my desire to see content with Asian representation also came together this time, so I didn't think twice and started watching it, no matter that after I started watching it I did think many times to finish it.

Everything is going to take place in San Francisco's Chinatown, where Kai is going to be chosen as the last Wu Assassin to try to achieve the balance of the ancient powers, why was he chosen? Because he is a cook, because he is good with knives, and because he is pure of heart, and if you don't believe me that nonsense, watch the series and you will realize, it is full of things without explanation, and I'm not talking about the mystical and supernatural ones. There are five powers: Metal, Fire, Water, Earth, and Wood; and we should count Wu Assasin as the sixth power, but things don't work like that in the series, it's a very weird thing.

Como mi necesidad de ver patadas, coñazos y mordisco hizo su aparición de cada 4 meses en mí, me atreví a ver Wu Assasins, y como la última película que vi llena de muy buenas patadas, coñazos y mordiscos fue Shang-Chi, se juntaron mis ganas de ver contenido con representación asiática también en esta ocasión, así que no lo pensé dos veces y comencé a verla, sin importar que después de comenzar a verla sí lo pensé muchas veces para terminarla.

Todo va a tener lugar en el barrio chino de San Francisco, donde Kai va a ser elegido como el último Wu Assansin para tratar de conseguir el equilibrio de los poderes antiguos, ¿por qué lo eligieron? Porque es un cocinero, porque es bueno con los cuchillos, y porque es puro de corazón, y si no me creen ese sinsentido, vean la serie y se darán cuenta, está llena de cosas sin explicación, y no hablo de las místicas y sobrenaturales. Son cinco poderes: Metal, Fuego, Agua, Tierra, y Madera; y deberíamos contar al Wu Assasin como el sexto poder, pero las cosas no funcionan así en la serie, es una cosa muy rara.

Primero, la serie en algún momento se va a poner muy tediosa y van a querer dejarla de ver, y si en ese momento hubiera tenido algo mejor que ver, cosa que sí tuve porque vi tres películas intercaladas en mis días viendo la serie, la hubiera dejado de ver por completo sin llegar a ver el final, después les hablo del final, aunque igual va a estar lleno de lo mismo que rodea a la serie, de muchas cosas sin sentido que en vez de apoyar al protagonista o al lado bueno de la historia, están en su contra.

Siento que esta serie en vez de ser hecha para apoyar al protagonista, se hizo para poner todo en su contra, y no en un buen sentido, tratando de que buscara la superación personal que tanto le exigían, pues como su título lo indica es el Asesino Wu, por lo que debe matar, pero Kai al ser de buen corazón no lo hace, al menos hasta que sus seres queridos están en peligro y debe hacer hasta lo imposible para salvarlos, y lo hace, pero no, inexplicablemente todo sucede en contra de nuevo y están con la soga hasta el cuello de nuevo, eso fue fastidioso, y casi por eso dejo de ver la serie.

The fight scenes are very well done, and without lying, they are my favorite part, otherwise, the series does not have many good things, neither the performances nor the soundtrack, ohmydog, I must talk about this, most, if not almost all the music of the fights and in general was bad, very bad, instead of helping to better enjoy the scenes, no, what they do is distract, then we do not know whether to pay attention to the music or whatever is happening, no, it's horrible.

Las escenas de las peleas están muy bien hechas, y sin mentir, son mi parte favorita, de resto la serie no tiene muchas cosas buenas, ni las actuaciones, ni el soundtrack, ohmydog, debo hablar de esto, la mayoria, si ni casi toda la música de las peleas y en general estuvo mal, muy mal, en vez de ayudar a que se puedan disrutar mejor las escenas, no, lo que hacen es distraer, entonces no sabemos si prestarle atención a la música o a lo que sea que está pasando, no, es horrible.

¿A pesar de que tiene más cosas malas que buenas me gustó? Sí, me gustó, no puedo decir lo contrario, es una buena serie para ponerla de fondo mientras se hace otra cosa, no se necesita de mucha atención para entenderla y aunque a veces nos perdamos en la historia, les aseguro que no se pierden de nada y en algún momento van a entender lo que está sucediendo sin tener muchos dolores de cabeza, así que no se preocupen, y si deciden dejar de verla, tampoco se preocupen, porque no se pierden de nada exageradamente bueno, ni siquiera regularmente bueno.

Even a grandma can destroy you in seconds with a baton if you're careless, I mean, they're Asian, they do everything better.

¿Por qué decidí ver esta serie y no cualquier otra que tuviera patadas, coñazos y mordiscos? Porque bueno, hay una escena que tardó demasiado en salir, solo sucede hasta el capítulo 7, Donde Kai y Uncle Six le dan una clase de historia chino-americana a una esterotipo de Karen que quiere hacerse la más servicial y comprensiva con ellos, y todo eso termina con patadas, coñazos y mordiscos donde Kai aplasta como las cucarachas que son a los clientes que también son racistas y xenofóbicos, y pensándolo bien, ¿quién carajos intenta meterse con gente asiática? Hasta una abuela te puede destruir en segundos de un bastonazo si te descuidas, es decir, son asiáticos, todo lo hacen mejor.

¡Ahi tienen el trailer! Para que decidan si verla, o no verla. Sinceramente, yo seguiría mi consejo de solo ver el capítulo 7 para ver la escena donde pelean contra los hombres en el restaurante, porque de resto, todo termina sin tener sentido, y el final, ohmydog, qué jodido final tan malo, por un momento pensé que sería bueno, tenía todas las intenciones de ser bueno, pero no, se sacaron un giro en la trama de la oreja izquierda con los dedos, luego se metieron el dedo en la nariz, y usaron la combinación de esas dos sustancias corporales para escribir el final, porque de resto, no tengo idea de lo que hicieron.
