Christmas Gala and Food Trip

Merry Christmas Hiveans! Did you enjoy your day? I bet others from other parts of the world just started.

I was offline most of the time today as I gave myself a break from online side hustles. I just wanted to enjoy this special day with me, myself, and I 😂. Just to feel like I am not alone on Christmas too. Life abroad is really boring, but I'm used to it already.

If you wonder about what I did today, I just did a food trip and a Christmas trip to a pretty place. The photos above are just some spoilers about the things I did today. I want to make a separate blog about my Christmas day, but I opted to make a short one just to greet you guys a Merry Christmas.

Thanks, by the way, to @tibaire and @ladiesofhive for the Christmas gift I received today from winning the recent LOH contest. I considered it as a gift 😊. This community is just one of those I enjoy staying with.

About the food trip I did today, I ate my lunch on time at Saizeriya restaurant. An Italian restaurant near my place. This was also a treat to me for being hardworking this year, lol. My meal consists of corn and tuna salad, a platter of appetizers, and hazelnut semifreddo cake for dessert. Of course, I can't eat without rice so I ordered it as well. After eating my lunch, I went back to home to change my jacket as I felt cold 😂.

And tonight, I looked for something hot because I felt too cold. So I decided to dine in my favorite congee restaurant. I ordered pumpkin congee and steamed mushroom rice sheets. I felt relieved after eating those foods.

Today was a productive day outside the online world. I visited a church to offer some prayers, and ride on a peak tram going to a beautiful place. I also had a short afternoon walk on a trail in the area. I actually have nothing to do so I just walked around. I stayed in the place until dawn. The sunset was such a beauty to behold.

It gets too cold at night so I opted to go. The queue at the bus terminus was too long and it took me almost an hour to queue there.

The first photo was taken on another day from one of the Christmas installations here. I just included it as a Christmas photo greeting because of the huge Christmas tree. The photo of the city at night was taken from the bus while I was on my way back home.

That's all for now. I felt tired and needed a rest. Tomorrow is back to the ordinary working day, the sad reality.

The holidays are done for me. But I hope you'll enjoy yours.
