A Walk Through Tamar Learning Bridge
November 15, 2023
Happy humpday #WednesdayWalk! I'm starting to like the weather out here. There is quite a chilly breeze with a partly cloudy sky. It is a great day to go up the mountains. Hopefully soon. Things are ready, so it's just a matter of time. My weekend wandering will continue to #WednesdayWalk. It was a great Sunday, so after visiting the Central Harborfront, I continued my walk toward Admiralty Harborfront to spend the rest of my afternoon.
It was one of those days that I just let my feet wander and bring me to wherever they wanted to, seize the day, and enjoy solitude amidst the crowd. I've been a solo wanderer for years, and it is my way to immerse myself in the surroundings and embrace my journey. Solo wandering is indeed a moment of introspection.
As expected, the crowd was huge at Tamar Park, given that it is one of the biggest urban parks on Hong Kong Island. As I sat at the corner, I let my eyes wander, watching every move of the people around me. Some came in groups, and some were solo, like me. Nannix once said if I call it fun to see other people's smiles, Of course, should we be sad then?Kidding aside. Watching smiles and listening to the laughter of other people are stress relievers. It makes me temporarily forget what's truly happening in my life.
Can you imagine the crowd? It's a usual scene every holiday at Tamar Park. Urban camping is great here too, and it's a perfect spot to wait for the sunset. The shimmering lights of the harbor at night are spectacular. Despite the crowd, you will be relaxed here.
Apart from the World Rallycross finale (which I unfortunately missed), there was a Learning Bridge event at Tamar Park. Featuring different learning opportunities and interaction programs for kids with disabilities. Of course, even those with no disabilities were welcome to join and interact. On different booths were different programs and art displays that kids could help make. Some visual art displays are for sale.
Meanwhile, a man exhibited some exercises that could help those with disabilities cope with tension and be relaxed. These different learning programs help kids with disabilities discover new talents and skills in art and in other aspects that help develop their cognitive skills.
I had fun and learned some things while walking through the Learning Bridge. At the end of my walk, I rewarded myself with one of my favorite ice cream flavors, ube, from Nestle.
That's all for today #WednesdayWalk. Today is also #LPUD, so if you have at least 150 LEO, you can participate in this event.
Thanks for stopping by.

The number of people who attend the park is incredible, dear friend @jane1289
I loved seeing the kids with different abilities doing these activities, and how people interact with them.
It's a shame you lost the Rallycross World Championship, maybe next time
What a beautiful hiking experience, I appreciate that you let us know these beautiful shots
Have a great day
The world rallycross.. That was a big event I missed.. Hopefully I'll be able to watch next year
The Tamar park is such a beautiful sight to behold, the pictures are pretty good as well.
I loved the park, a little piece of nature within the city. It's great all the activities and interactions they had with the children. I imagine it must be so good being there and watching all the activity that's happening around you, kind of relaxing. Thanks for sharing your walk, I enjoyed it
It's a relaxing park despite the crowd.. That's why people are always going there on weekends
The place is wonderful one. I am not saying wonderful just because of the beauty of the place I am saying it because the lively activity of the place. I believe that everyone enjoy time in that kind of environment. In fact it's difficult not to enjoy time there. I would love to spend sometime watching the activities of other people there.

Tamar Park has a lot going on. It's neat to see urban camping something I have never seen except in one of your past post 😊 The Learning bridge is great to see how things are done. Also great way for those with disabilities to experience. !HUG
I sent 1.0 HUG on behalf of @coolmidwestguy.

Yes that was on the opposite side, that island you can see in the first photo...
Urban camping is allowed at parks here... It's actually more like a picnic where people set up tents..
