Original Art Photography Wild Horse Series By @jan-mccomas #18 "March Of The Onaqui"
Greetings Hive!
I love wild horses, well, horses in general. I talked @lk666 into taking a vacation in Utah so I could visit the Onaqui Mountain Wild Horses. These horses have been on that public land since the 1800's. The BLM just finished round ups. I can only imagine the terror those beautiful creatures felt. The BLM do not treat the wild horses very nice. Most times they get injured and they are crammed into a small holding pen. I am no longer certain how many are still running free. The round ups break my heart. I will never understand how some of the human race can be so heartless when it comes to animals. After all, they are living, breathing beings and they do have emotions. I will always remember my trip to Utah because of these magnificent spirited animals.

I feel so at peace when I have my camera in hand and can capture all the spaces in the world that I come upon. Photography allows you to document the presence of nature but also all the man-made disturbances that humans have left behind. I hope you enjoy.

If you would like to help out with a cause that is very close to my heart, saving the Wild Mustangs! When there is a drought or severe winter the wild horses need a little help with food and water to survive. I have started a Go Fund Me Account to help with the expenses.
