Good and Evil a Construct of Man? And the Daily Photos

What's shaken my homies?

Have you ever stepped on a bug inadvertently? Sure you didn't mean to cush that little being, You didn't mean to end that bugs life, or perhaps you stepped on a bunch of little ants that were eating. You didn't mean to crush that group of friends... But yet you did. Does that make you an evil person?

Perhaps even, you set a mousetrap out in your house to kill a mouse. You are actively trying to kill another animal, sure that animals in your house, it's disgusting and full of germs... So you actively try to kill it, end its life as it has less value than yours. Does that make you a bad person, an evil person?

Perhaps you buy a new set of shoes, shoes that were manufactured in a sweatshop overseas, shoes that require deadly chemicals to make them, and the people making the shoes get cancer and died at a young age, because they're making you a set of footwear... Does this make you an evil person because you want your feet to be happy, and are willing to sacrifice the lives of strangers to find your own personal comfort?

Perhaps you were raised in a religion, that every day instilled in you an idea of sacrifice for the greater good. And one day you strap a bomb on yourself and blow yourself up in a crowded marketplace in the name of your religion. Does that make you an evil person?

Perhaps you are the leader of an Incan sun - worshiping religion, you must cut the hearts out of a thousand people to satisfy the God that you serve. You mindfully do your duty to serve your God, based on your teachings and sacrificed thousands of people. Does that make you an evil person?

I imagine to the ants you step on, yes. I imagine to the mice you kill, yes. I imagine workers working, no. I would imagine to the people you blow up, yes. I would imagine to the other tribes you sacrifice for your sun God yes.

But to the people you are walking with when you crush the ants, no. To the other people in your apartment complex who are also plagued with mice, they look at you as a hero. The people seeing you wearing the shoes - you will look so cool. to other zealots in your religious cult they will see you as a hero, and people standing at the base of your Incan shrine as bloody bodies rain down, they will see you as an incarnation of God.

I think it's all a matter of perspective in this life. Good and evil are constructs of what we believe, and from where you view that belief.

I don't know, this is just an idea I was thinking about the other day. Perhaps make a card game about it? Anyways let's get the pictures for today.

I appreciate in Vietnam the multitudes of door knockers... I think it adds a bit of class and mystery to any home. I think, when I get a house I am going to add knockers all over the place of crazy figurines.

I found this neon green caterpillar, doing the caterpillar thing... Such a bright neon green. I am wondering if people in the past used them for makeup... They used pigeon poop for white, and lead... So, smearing lime green crushed caterpillar on your face, doesn't sound too far-fetched.

Sorry that's out of focus a bit, but I found this crawling monolith fascinating. I had to restrain my desire to pick him up as I hear some of these Caterpillars, are quite deadly.

Also, it's nice to have a day or two of respite on the storms. Check out this image of what is coming soon...

It seems off the coast of the Philippines, 4 smaller storms merged together to form a massive storm...like a giant menacing swirling vortex... It's heading towards land. So, got to enjoy these next few days of happiness in the sun.

And that includes taking a lot of morning and afternoon walks along the beach.

On one of the walks I stumbled across this pile of bleached coral...

It was next to a construction site, so I assume maybe they use it in concrete?

But there was a lot of it spread out. , makes me sad to see the bones of that many life forms piled up.

I also find the telephone poles here quite fascinating.

Just like, "let's slap as many things that we can on these poles". Lol... neat. I think this might be something with Wi-Fi? IDK...

Anyways, today, some friends and I are grabbing some super cub motorbikes and going for a ride. I'll be sure to be taking some photos of this adventure and share them with you tomorrow.
