What tags to use for your blog post

In this article, I will tell you all about the hashtags that I know and when to use them.

Tags are identifiers to make your post visible to searchers. On social media accounts, it is written by putting a pound symbol at the beginning of the tag.

In hive blogging, you only need to put the word and separate it with a comma or space.

By using the appropriate tags in your post, curators who follow that tag can easily find your post and upvote them.

TYPES OF TAGS

There is really no such thing as this, but to make you better understand I tried to classify them

COMMUNITY TAGS

These are tags associated with communities.

Example: Splinterlands

if you use the tag splinterlands, your post will appear on the Splinterlands community

Read the description of a community to know what tags they use if they are using any

TOKEN TAGS

these are tags used to receive tokens from that tag

Example: neoxian

If you tag neoxian you will be rewarded with a neoxag token after the post payout

Universal Tags

these are common descriptive tags that you use to tell what your post is all about

Example: art

How to know if how many users are using a tag

To know if there are users using that specific tag, you can simply add

/trending/art

Example:

https://peakd.com/trending/art

https://hive.blog/trending/art

https://ecency.com/trending/art

and you will see posts that have used this tag. don’t use tags that only a few people use and don’t try to invent tags. You could but you might need to be popular or support it with a contest.

HOW TO USE TAGS

at the end of every post, there is a box specifically used for tags. Don’t just use any tags, there are a lot of tags out there that are very rewarding.

Some curators will reward you if you use their tags properly in your post.

if you use the tag oneup, you will be rewarded with oneup token

TAG ABUSE

But I am warning you, do not abuse the use of tags. Don’t use tags that are irrelevant to your post just because you want to get rewarded.

don’t use art if your post is not about art. Some people might downvote you and this will affect your reputation.

FOR GENERAL USE

tag = proofofbrain; reward pob token

tag = vyb; reward = vyb token

tag = neoxian; reward = neoxag token

tag = pimp; reward = pimp token

FOR FINANCIAL POST AND CRYPTO

tag = leofinance; reward = leo token

tag = ctp; reward = ctp token

FOR ART RELATED CONTENT

tag = creative coin; reward = ccc token (for drawings and digital arts)

tag = musicforlife; reward = vibes token (for music-related content)

tag = meme; reward = meme token ( for jokes and humor)

tag = cine; reward = cine token (for film, show related)

Tags are there to help us with our post, use them wisely
