"Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" by Shakira - ENG / SPA -

Hello, dear friends! How are you? As you know, a few weeks ago we were finally able to listen to Shakira's new album "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" which is number 11 of her career and which I have been looking forward to, so today I'm here to share with you my opinion. I hope you like it.

¡Hola, queridos amigos! ¿Como están? Como saben, hace algunas semanas finalmente pudimos escuchar el nuevo disco de Shakira "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" el cual es el número 11 de su carrera y que estuve esperando con ansias, así que hoy estoy por aquí para compartir con ustedes mi opinión. Espero sea de su agrado.

Although I have been a huge fan of Shakira since I was little, I admit that at first I didn't have many expectations with the album because "Shakira reggaetonera" is not much to my liking and with the exception of some songs that had already been released, however, after listening to it all the day of the premiere I must say that...I really liked it! If there is something that I have always liked about her, it's the way she has to express her feelings in her songs and although many of her fans think that she has lost her touch, I don't think that is the case because although she has adapted to the current market I like that she preserves her essence in a certain way. A breakup after so much time can hurt too much and everyone processes it in a different way, so I love how Shakira let off steam in these songs, which although I don't like all of them, I like most of them because they seem very optimistic and in my case, they arrived when I needed them most.

Aunque soy fan a morir de Shakira desde que era pequeña, reconozco que al principio no tenía muchas expectativas con el disco ya que la "Shakira reggaetonera" no es mucho de mi agrado y a excepción de algunas canciones que ya habían salido sin embargo, luego de escucharlo todo el día del estreno debo decir que...¡realmente me gustó!. Si hay algo que siempre me ha gustado de ella es la manera que tiene para plasmar sus sentimientos en sus canciones y aunque muchos de sus fans piensen que ha perdido el toque, yo no pienso que sea así ya que aunque se ha adaptado al mercado actual me gusta que conserve en cierta manera su esencia. Una ruptura amorosa luego de tanto tiempo, puede doler demasiado y cada quién la procesa de distinta manera y me encanta como Shakira se desahogó en estas canciones las cuales aunque no me gustan todas, si me gustan en su mayoría ya que me parecen muy optimistas y en mi caso, llegaron cuando más las necesitaba.

The album contains many songs that are my favorites, before its release I had liked songs like "Acróstico" which I think is a beautiful tribute to his 2 children in the midst of everything, I also loved the sincerity with which he expressed himself in the song with Bizarrap which caused a lot of stir and although it's not one of my favorites I also like "Te Felicito" for its quite catchy rhythm and dance. Other songs that I really like are "Última" which is a beautiful ballad that reminds me of their first songs, also others like "Entre Paréntesis" and "Tiempo Sin Verte" seem very good to me. Although I admit that I had a different perspective on the album before it went on sale, I really liked it and it seems like a very optimistic album with songs that I have come to identify with to a certain extent.

El álbum contiene muchas canciones que son mis favoritas, antes de su lanzamiento me habían gustado canciones como "Acróstico" la cual me parece un hermoso homenaje a sus 2 hijos en medio de todo, también me encantó la sinceridad con la que se expresó en la canción con Bizarrap la cual causó mucho revuelo y aunque no es de mis favoritas también me agrada "Te Felicito" por su ritmo y baile bastante pegajosos. Otras canciones que realmente me gustan son "Última" la cual es una hermosa balada que me recuerda a sus primeras canciones, también otras como "Entre Paréntesis" y "Tiempo Sin Verte" me parecen muy buenas. Aunque reconozco que tenía otra perspectiva del álbum antes de que saliera a la venta, enserio me gustó mucho y me parece un álbum muy optimista y con canciones con las que me he llegado a identificar hasta cierto punto.

I also really like the art of the album in general, in which Shakira was inspired by precious stones to release 4 different editions which each have a different meaning and all work with the message that she wants to give us with the album, because it was created from everything she had to endure after her relationship with the one she thought was the love of her life and with whom she had 2 children simply left her, I believe we all have the right to express ourselves however we want to let go the pain we feel or in the case of it, transform it into art regardless of what people may think. I have always felt identified in some way with Shakira so I'm very happy that she has released a new album after several years, and also because she showed us that nowadays women no longer cry, women make money!

El arte en general del disco también me gusta mucho, en el cual Shakira se inspiró en piedras preciosas para sacar 4 ediciones distintas las cuales cada una tiene un significado distinto y todos funcionan con el mensaje que ella nos quiere dar con el disco, ya que fue creado a partir de todo lo que tuvo que soportar luego de que su relación con el que ella pensó era el amor de su vida y con el que tuvo 2 hijos simplemente la dejó, creo que todos tenemos derecho a expresarnos como queramos para dejar ir el dolor que sentimos o en caso de ella, transformarlo en arte sin importar lo que la gente pueda opinar. Siempre me he sentido identificada de alguna manera con Shakira así que estoy muy feliz de que haya sacado un nuevo álbum después de varios años, y también porque nos demostró que en la actualidad las mujeres ya no lloran, ¡las mujeres facturan!.
